Ed is deep in the thick of the war. Even as he faces danger he thinks still of Fran and turns down a man bought to aid his night. Edith is merciless and has a code that leaves the c common folk safe while she takes revenge on nobles. Fran is faced with a choice. Send the troops he commands to aid the Duke and received the title and land he prizes or send his men to aid Edith and face supreme danger, What risk will he take? I do not think it is an easy choice. Will he decide to join Ed and Edith or the Duke? His choice is momentous. He is writing ,,,,a" single written missive that would forever alter the course of Morish History." We do not know his decision. Next chapter will take us of the cliff. I hope he joins Ed, -

Thank you Asa and Caleb--They team worked and healed the two hybrids. It took 8 hours for the toughest, oldest hybrids to recover. Could Asa and Caleb heal two a day from now on with time off to recharge? I am sure they want to be careful and give each hybrid the best chance to transform. They can find out what makes sense as they take on new hybrids.

Roger died quietly in his sleep. A sad but graceful way to leave this earth. Armand was hit hard by the death of his long-time teacher. He grieved for a several days and weeks. Roger was placed in the mausoleum. An angel was painted on his door that connected all. Roger and Jean and Arnaud are together. Colin worried about Armand leaving him. The are still relatively young in their 60[s. They have time to live and be with those they love. They should be looking to deepen the quality of their lives and strengthening their relationships. GG will guide them.

I liked Max. He was good looking, successful and well balanced--mostly. He understood finally that Perry and Kyan were a perfect couple, He did not look back. But for some as of yet unexplained reason, Reid got his goat. Finding out about their past and potential future can be fascinating. You have fertile ground for a terrific story when you are ready.

Micco is captured by his past and heritage. He and Chase became lifelong brood brothers in a formal ceremony. But Chase abandoned him without notice and explanation. Micco was hurt and the pain has not left him, With his mind in great turmoil, he is tormented by anonymous phone message saying he killed Sam and was a murderer. Micco does not remember this, but is very disturbed and vulnerable.

The shooter had a picture of Travis. I am glad Travis did not join Will on a horse ride or he might have been shot. Could Travis put off for an extended time his family meeting? His safety and life are not assured after the shooter was found at Escorial, and he will soon know who his biological father is. He does not need to hear from his mother who his father is at the dinner.

Wow--A man was planning on killing Travis when he was at Escorial. Luckily , Will saw him hiding while riding his horse and alerted the security who shot him and turned him over to the police, Daddy Buck did not give up on killing Travis. But then Jake showed up worried and came face to face with Travis. They looked alike --powerfully alike. Both were shocked. Jake ran away. Will found him and Jake said he can explain things to them when Brad arrives and is present. What a day-grave danger and shocking discovery. It appears Jake is the dad of Travis.
