Yes, I did enjoy Evan's and Lucas's story. They started as serial friends at the lighthouse talking intermittedly while Evan unsuccessfully tried to write. Slowly, they blossomed into real friends who enjoyed spending time with each other and Evan muse sprang forth enabling him to set prose to paper. They were complete sharing each other's company.

What an ongoing catastrophe beyond Hugo's and Alec's comprehension. Sinjin at least seems to have led then far astray and set Hugo up to be killed The Bride saved Hugo and thought Sinjin was crazy. “Sinjin and his damn aggregate bullshit.” She tsked aloud. “Listen, I think the fastest way to get yourself killed around here is to listen to him. He’s a crazy old man, sweet, but nuts." There are stalkers out there and maybe going after Alec. Hugo wants to go after him. It has been a week. But he is still too injured to move. We know when he can, Hugo will go after Alec. Maybe the Bride can give him some advice. Surprises pop up and let's hope Hugo finds a way to reunite with Alec and flee the citadel.

Things ended softly. The group of kids moved out for the most part. Only Joel, Davin and Colt were left sleeping in the truck bed. colt's girl friend left disappointing him. The fight and mention of a gun did not bring out any serious discussion. Davin wanted Joel to go to their school. Surprisingly, Joel had not thought that far ahead. I totally enjoyed this story. I was challenged and worried by all the bad actors with evil intent. Trying to steal a nuclear submarine, blow up innocent people, attempt to cause nuclear disasters, murderous spies, and also face bloody internal bureaucratic fights impairing national security are only some of the issues to be faced .Andrew and Will Carter are central , helpful an skilled players in the drama. It is a worthy read with suspense galore.

What a very successful conclusion ! MI5 and skilled military and other actors took down the foreign bad guys with precision and stopped foreign goverments from gaining a nuclear detinator. Seeing Sir Edward smile and gloat over Defarge was priceless The foreign agents made payments to people they did not realize who would benefit. Enrico and Xue earned their significant ill gotten gain . We learned they are going into business for themselves. Enrico made sure a very large payment was made to Ezra that will insure his happy future. Sinclair landed in South America tied up by Xue. Enrico bribed the police to believe Sinclair was a pedophile and now he is destined to be placed in a nasty prison and given very bad treatment by those who hate child predators. Sinclair may well lose his life before his lawyers can try to help him. Will and Andrew and Jacob are returning to Canada. Will wanted to be certain Andrew will be taking his Navy uniform with him and maybe for some mysterious personal fantasy play. Thank you for a wonderful , well told yarn. Like-life things are not resolved and details are left undone. Sinclair is removed as a cancer. Enrico is free to take on new opportunities. He will still likely target his enemy, the US. Will and Andrew also must be open to move back to Canada when the time comes holding their heads up high. Thank you.
