    Chapter 1

    Definitely interesting.

    Rehearsal

Luke's "dearly beloved"-piece was absolutely hilarious. But, but: the mid-tale cliffhanger about that fatal night night years ago simply isn't logical. If you write about a person's thoughts you cannot pretend they're not there in their entirety
  3. (re-)reading some of the above comments, i must confess I'm - well, not shocked but yes: surprised about the apparent liking of some fellow-readers of Malik's sizeable but, definitely, not 'average' appendix. Is that really such a pleasurable quality in a lover - for men and women alike? I actually doubt it. Can't we do without such verbal "Tom of Finland' images? 😀
  4. Promising....

    Chapter 1

    Absolutely wonderfully heart-rending.
  6. I still like the tale - but please: leave out the: impossibly handsome men, the perfectly tailored suits, the slightly unbuttoned silk shirts and the effortless charm. You do not need these tropes to drive your story forward.
  7. But let me nuance that 'prediction'. The author will have some work to do if he wants to convince us that after the denouement of Harry's plot Zayn will easily turn to River.
  8. Of course we know that all's well that ends well, as will happen here, too. But the way thither is interesting enough.
  9. This really is a very non-emotional end yet very emotional description of a painful past and its consequences in the present. Well done indeed.
  10. ah, yes. Do you go for the allure of the chique boutique press, or wait for an invitation from a big trade publisher? With poetry: a difficult choice indeed.

    Chapter 33

One may ask if the Canadian constitution vis a vis the Monarch's role/power should't be tested once to conclude about its validity. Obviously, of opting for a native head-of-state one should very carefully "shop" around to find a system that does not degeneratie into the mess of the USofA or, for that matter, France. With almost all Western democracies in a perilous state, a balanced and balancing system is of the utmost importance.

    Frosty

    Convincingly weird....

    Track 3

emotionally and practically sensible: the house/apartment first. The proposal? One must always see...

    Chapter 4

“Can you talk French? Say something cool!” This is a lovely chapter indeed.
  15. Baking together. Unless people are finely - boringly? - attuned: an inevitable mess, but yes, it's as perfect a bonding moment as any. And how apt that during these days new plans/projects are a-baking.. Not a cake but a cottage or, even, a fully-blown country-house?
  16. dear author, I'm so glad that, in your more recent stories, you've moved on from the: 'the (bond) hunk', 'the (Greek) stud' stereotypes. They - forgive me - are amateurish and really mar your tale(s), spoil your style. You're now showing your real talent.

    Chapter 12

a cliff-hanger if ever there was one.
  18. Cane's analysis is, obviously, spot on. This chapter is both a moment that - as we'll perhaps read in the next one - somehow brings the relationship between B and L to a moment of truth of sorts, but it definitely also foreshadows an epiphany that we've seen slowly growing in the previous chapters. For indeed: "through a glass darkly"....
  19. Of course, from this writer, and from the clues he always leaves, this was the expected development all the time. Any other one would not have been CW's. But as always the way the story is told, with details being so important that you almost don't see them, is what makes you forget that this is what the author planned. And you read on.

    Prologue

actually, I hope I don't have to suggest that you use the obvious enthusiasm of your GA-followers to get as good a deal as possible from your publisher !!!

    Prologue

No need to apologise at all. For whatever reasons - money, kudos, pride... - and despite the possibilities to reach a perhaps (far) greater readership offered by the Internet rather than the printed page, yet we all crave chances to "get published" in a traditional way...

    Prologue

Good Heavens, another political thriller. And one that is addressing an - alas - highly urgent preblem: the power of Big Agro-business. In my country we blame the firms involved for their blatant political intrigues which, to a realy inacceptable extent - block a series of vital political decisions in a range of societal fields. Meanwhile: however much I deplore the "on hold"-situation of the door-knock tale: I really DO hope it will be published asap. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

    Chapter 1

Post-modernity at its best, or worst..... No, change that: a very funny story which, indeed, we (reviewers) badly needed....
  24. One can but hope....
  25. This really is a romp of a story. The opposition(s) between the characters are hugly entertaining, the situations, though often absurdist, always funny. In short: read it!
