    I think you met your aim @Boy Mercury X. You took an ass kissing doctorate candidate and through his interactions with Striker he matured and grew to become an honorable man, with a new purpose in his life. James seemed to simply have used Ed to both advance his own career and have a young sexual partner. Striker's story truly put Ed on the search for a much greater cause. If not for Striker, Ed would probably have just continued trying to get back together with James.

    There is something about this story that is absolutely beautiful @Boy Mercury X but I cannot put my finger on it yet. Maybe it was the connection between Striker and Ed, not quite sure. I know I hope Ed can find Striker after risking death to protect him from Apollon. This is such a departure from your other stories @Boy Mercury X, I hope other readers appreciate it. I do.

    Something positive on the inheritance front. Niran will have to recalibrate his plans and we have to believe Kent will respond appropriately. Happy that Marvin and Kent are getting closer and also going about it slowly. Great chapter Tony!

    Been binge reading this off and on all day. Had been hoping he would enjoy the coaches as well as the guys. I hope he gets to know the head coach as well. The characters are great and extremely likeable. Great story telling @KKirk.

    The mystery deepens somewhat but also lightens. Striker seems to be the answer, and Ed may be able to help him to conclusions. Then again, I could be totally off base. I am very happy @Boy Mercury X, that you divided this story up into three chapters and giving time to think between chapters. This chapter is truly thought provoking.

    I actually read and caught up on Role of a Lifetime first. I was hooked by the second chapter. I just started the first Jody story earlier. I am definitely a fan after reading some of your work. Thank you @KKirk for sharing your stories.

    We were all speculating at the value of the inheritance after the last chapter. It must be extremely substantial to have Niran spending so much money, time and effort to harass Kent, Marvin and Devon. It is time, as Joeseph said, for Pete to take action. If Pete does not, Kent needs to. I am so happy that more is developing between Marvin and Kent. Trust is key in their relationship, and they seem to have finally developed it. As Joseph said, thank you Tony for giving us this intriguing story.

    Definitely a mystery with some interesting characters and plot. Ed should consider Gus as a good romantic replacement for the James. Got me hooked and waiting for another chapter.

    I 100% agree! Parents and Sam deserve to be put through hell just like they put James through. James needs to let Evan have a go round with them. Probably would not help but at least it would be a release of anger. Most parents have favorites but try not to show it. I this case they just want to brutalize James to prop up Sam.

    Glad there seems to be a backup plan for the band if and when Russell leaves. Eagerly awaiting to learn about Spirit Court. Great chapter Lee.

    Still looks like Niran in behind everything. Marvin took the fact Kent had not been up front with him better than I expected. Kent's new sense of purpose to keep Marvin and Devon safe. An important reason for living again.
