Changing Lanes (and no I don't mean the story per se)

Yes, it's a good title for a story, and it's what I am doing. It's time to put plans into action. I can have a better life for myself, one with reduced stress and more pleasure. I have come across a business opportunity, and I am going to take it. Tomorrow night could very well change my life forever. Lately I have not felt any inspiration to write. I don't know what it is, but it's just not what belongs on my plate right now. Hopefully that will change soon, because I do want to finish a story by next spring. Regardless, I'll end up posting chapters anyway. That may give me incentive to write more just to please everyone. -
Joe, I continue to struggle with depression myself. It doesn't make you a pussy. It's a combination of life's events and the chemicals in your brain. The important thing is getting better. I'm not going to say if it was the right decision or not, because I don't really know for sure. I will say that you do need to fix the problem before you start a relationship with anyone else though. It's important to be at a better place so that you can give of yourself completely. Keep your head up. You'll get better. Try meditation. It does seem to help. If you want, I can send you a link to a good one.

Overall, I consider myself to be more of a deist. I am not one to say that there isn't something out there. As for the economy, I hope a solution is found. If our next president plays his cards right, he could get a lot of credit for economic improvements. -
Is there that much of a difference? Oh well, I'll go with gossip girl. Would you rather fly to a new planet or fly to Paris?

Well, I've thought about getting my tongue pierced. I'm not sure if I will go through with it or not. Anyway, it's okay that you're busy, Jamie. You have to do well in your classes and have fun whenever possible.

This a thread for stories about people who put items like gerbils, potatoes, jars of jelly, flowers, light bulbs, and other objects or creatures in places where they do not belong. Also, songs about such things might be amusing as well. It's a reminder to us all how stupid some people really are. Here is a story from The Sun, a newspaper website in the UK.

We often dare to dream. Someone, or something, comes along that you want more than anything. The problem comes when you realize what is probably lost to you forever. It's the ultimate in not being inspired. It's problematic to say the least, but who knows what will happen? It just makes me wish I could crawl under a rock, but I can't do that. I'm much better than I was a few months ago, but now that I am more "normal", it actually makes things more difficult to deal with. It may be a while, but I'll eventually no longer care. The problem is that I must wrap myself up in something else completely.

I too seem to be uninspired. Part of it has to do with not being able to have what I want. I'm sure that doesn't help much, but that's part of life. I hope you find inspiration again very soon.

Well, I just started playing the new round of Star Kingdoms. last night. This is awesome. So far, I know of 4 other GA members who are playing. 2 of them, Demetz and W.L., are in my sector, which is really cool. I also know that Lissa and Mattie are playing as well. This is going to be f**king awesome! I think I'm getting a much better start this time, and I think I can do quite well. It's a fun game, and if you're interested, start quickly, because the round is already in full swing. Being any more than a day behind won't do you much good. I also suggest a strategy guide.
