  1. Yup, a topic already exists for this Piercings - started by Domluka And people thought I was making it up that Dom had piercings
  2. Fear of snakes doesn't seem irrational...like a big boa curling around your body and squeezing the life out of it.
  3. I was very sorry to hear about Mark's passing. I know Mark had been dealing with health issues for a while, but it's still so sad when someone so young passes away. He didn't deserve it. Mark was an extremely nice & funny guy who frequented GA Chat and MSN back in the day. I'll miss him
  4. Poor Kevin, I never pictured you with a monotone voice
  5. I think Steve mentioned in a blog (not the one about being a Pr*ck in a previous life ) but about the evil puff of air glaucoma test that eye doctor perform. To this day, I still jump or blink my eyes early whenever I have to take that test. Rationally speaking, I know it won't hurt, so why do I still jump? Then I started thinking what are my other irrational fears? Here they are: 1) Eye/Puff of air test 2) Opening up a tube of refrigerator dough like Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls or Biscuits - I always hold my breath or squint my eyes because I'm afraid that stuff will come flying out or explode all over the place 3) Popping a balloon - Still can't do it What are yours? ok, I'm a big sissy, so sue me

    Xrated Pasta

Went to a party this evening, and one of the guests brought a pasta salad made with Penis shaped pasta.
  7. Congratulations!!!!! Have you thought about the speech you're going to give?
  8. Maybe your dad was trying to give you beer(wine) money!
  9. But we're not normal/rival brother & sister. I helped raise her, I picked her up when she cried. I'm not supposed to be perving on her boyfriends
  10. I have 3 siblings: two who are older than me and then a sister who's 16 years younger than me. This blog is about her. I remember when she was an infant, changing her diaper, teaching her to ride her bike without training wheels on, her crying when I went away to college, sending her off to college. Basically, I've seen her grow up to be the 24 year old women she is today. She's dated a few guys before, all nice guys. Well, she's dating a new guy. Makes her real happy. What's the problem? I just saw some pictures of the new guy and good god he's cute. Not model cute, but cute in that if I were picking out my perfect BF, he'd look like him (only mine would be 16 years older). He has the hair color I like, the skin color I like, the body style I like, the nose I like, the eyes I like...you get the picture. As the proper big brother, I'm supposed to be leery of him, making sure he doesn't mess with my sister or else I'll have to kick his ass. But kick is not what I want to do to that. This is weird  . I feel dirty. I feel guilty. I've let my catholic membership lapse, but are there any catholic priests out here in GA who could take my confession? 500 hail marys, or some our fathers? I need penance!
  11. I'm totally out at work and I don't think it's an issue. If it is an issue for some, they're closeted about it. I've been at this job for just over 5 years and I started out being out right away. That wasn't always the case at previous jobs where I'd be a little slower in coming out to co-workers (worried how people I liked would take it). If I ever switch jobs again, I'll make it clear from the get go that I'm gay (no gender neutral pronouns). Actually, I'll make it be known before the job in the interview process. I'd rather people axe me ahead of time if my being gay is an issue for them. If they don't want gays working there, why on earth would I want to work there? It's been my experience that gays are well represented in the IT field, so I don't think it would be an issue finding gay friendly workplaces.
  12. Aww, I loved this story! Thanks!
  13. He's so cute Sophie!!! What are you going to name him? Perhaps Herman? I was going to say that I liked your ring
  14. I agree! Ride It is my fav Geri Haliwell song.
  15. I actually enjoy your unpredictable story postings. It's always a pleasant surprise when I see a story post and depending on the story, I may have to go back and re-read, which is a good thing. But anywho, don't worry about your readers. You just write where your pen takes you. Heck, start another story if you want, I won't mind
  16. Happy 23rd Birthday Mattie-Cakes! Hope you have a fabulous one!
  17. Here's my 3 year old dog Mina, short for Wilhelmina. Loyal, always happy to see me, and constantly finding ways to make me smile, she's my favourite . My ex and I have shared custody of her, so we each get her for about 3-4 weeks at a time. When she's here, she gets two long walks a day (about 3 miles in the morning, and 3 miles in the evening) and she loves sleeping on the bed with me. During the day, Mina keeps watch over the back yard by staring out the sliding glass door. She's quick to run out through the doggie door to chase any birds or cats that dare to venture in. She's really good at learning tricks. She can 'high 5' with her paw, roll over, play dead, and is getting really good at catching a frisbee. She's a jumper who can reach my face while I'm standing up for a kiss.
  18. Happy 19th Birthday James!!!! Hope you have a great day and that this last of your teen years brings you good fortune and happiness! *high 5*
  19. Happy 38th Birthday Dan!
  20. At least you met & spent time with the guy you were obsessed with. I have an obsession with 'Cycle Guy' for about 3 years now (see him randomly at the gym, borders, and most recently at the airport. But I haven't even spoken to him let alone do a meet & greet date like you had. Honey, I hate to tell you this, but together those were brush offs. While he could have had plans in the city and could have been busy at work, if he were interested, he would have suggested an alternate time to meet. And not some vague 'yeah, yeah, we'll get together when things settle down'. That's what I say when I need to blow someone off but don't want to sound mean.
  21. Happy 23rd Birthday Jordan!!!! Hope you have a great day and a great year!

    Lets make a deal...

I think it's good for us to know the real you, as opposed to the proper image you want to project. Whiny bitch moments and all, it's who you are. Embrace it
  23. Watching my dog interact with other dogs and viewing dozens of episodes of Cesar Millan's Dog Whisperer, it's been fascinating to learn about dog pack mentality and how there's always an Alpha Dog. Some dogs are reluctant to be in that position, but will take the lead if he/she feels the pack isn't being lead properly. Other dogs are perfectly fine in a more submissive role in the pack. Do you think there is a similar heirarchy in human, monogamous relationships? Does the relationship work better if there is an alpha? And this isn't necessarily sexual (where Alpha=Top). For me in my last relationship, I found myself in the reluctant leadership role. I would have been perfectly happy with my partner making most of the major decisions (where to eat, where to go on vacation), someone who'd take care of me, make me feel 'safe'. So ideally for me, I'd be comfortable being led if I felt the partner was a good leader. How about you? Or is this all hogwash?
