  1. Domluka re-emerged on 10/24/2008. Here's his blog entry explaining
  2. It is not a competition, we're just happy to have Dom posting anywhere. Even if he's never posted in my blog. Wow, I'd expect more maturity from the two of you..especially considering your ages together add up to over 100. As you've said, this isn't a competition. I hope poor Dom isn't going to feel like he has to post in everyone's blogs.
  3. How many times did you say anyway?
  4. I'm saying both, I guess. For example, Domluka's story The Lo(n)g Way had well written & probably just enough sex scenes in it (of course this is all IMHO). I've heard that some readers skip over these sex scenes. So Yes to your first inquiry . More recent stories by this same author have fewer sex scenes, if none at all. Much is left to our imagination to fill in the blanks. If you're interested in background and discussion about this, there's a thread How does Dennis like it in the Domaholic's forum where the topic was resurrected. I also added some links to other threads on the topic. So for inquiry #2, Yes, I would like more sex scenes in these later stories . But please note, this is not a demand or pleading for more sex in the stories. I thoroughly enjoy the stories as is (with or without sex scenes). Hope this answers your questions. Take Care®, Vic
  5. Aww, my new inlaws are so cute. They're going to love the dowry I'm going to give them. *runs off to register us at Crate & Barrel*

    A New Years Resolution

Wait, how is that her resolution when you have to do the work (talking)? Tell her that she needs a typical resolution like losing weight, exercise more, quit smoking, etc. But if she does insist, maybe she likes having debates and differing opinions with her son Take Care, Vic P.S. - I'm still confused why you aren't loving Portillo's. Have you tried the italian beef with the sausage in it? Lot's of hot peppers? Plus a side of fries, definitely the fries
  7. At times I can be stubborn, but I've looked back over my time here at GA and found that I've come to accept (note accept, not tolerate) two facts: 1) Some guys who claim to be bisexual really are bisexual. 2) Some Gay Fiction readers skip over the sex scenes. For guys who claimed to be bisexual, I always assumed that they were just in denial, confused, or were just on a journey towards pure gayness. I knew better. I looked them in the eyes with a knowing look (well, as much as you can look someone in the eyes via the internet). But after much debate and discussion, I do believe there are true bisexuals. I still believe that some identified bisexuals are in denial, confused, etc, but there are some real ones. The other fact is harder to get my hands around. I mean, skip the sex scenes? Why even read the stories? I can see women skipping them over, or those who've been assigned to read the stories by some crafty English Lit Teaching Assistant, but gay guys? . *Sigh*, I don't know, maybe it's because I turned 40 this year, but I accept that they're out there. They've taken our abuse and disdain for too long, but now they have my sympathy and acceptance. Vic P.S. - Domluka is close to breaking 400,000 views on his blog. Even if you consider 100,000 of those views were mine, that still leaves about 300,000 others! Wow! Having him return from his hiatus has sure made this more fun for me. I couldn't ask for a better Christmas present

    Snow in Chicago

But Mattieeeeee, I want them to be able to walk. I'm not desperate enough (yet) that I'll need one who's maimed and bed-ridden so they can't escape.

    Snow in Chicago

I lived in chicago most of my life and it always seemed that every winter several people were dying of heart attacks when they shoveled snow. Hope you get out of there okay and get somewhere warm
  10. I'd love to shop at walmart. However the few in my town are just so darn crowded and the people with their carts are just so darn agressive. <edit> Used the edit feature as Sharon described perfectly! Thanks! who knew you had to scroll so far right and down.

    Snow in Chicago

Hahaha. I left Chicago on Friday, and for the 8 days I was there, the weather was reasonable, without any snow. There were a few times where all I was wearing were shorts and a hoodie. Now I hear from my relatives that there's about 8 inches of snow on the ground, and that a lot of flights were canceled on sunday...whew, I'm glad I got out of there unscathed. The weather gods were smiling upon me. Maybe I should go buy some lottery tickets.
  13. Seriously, walmart, on black friday? The last time I was at Walmart, I got stuck in a side aisle because the traffic on the main aisle I was turning into was going to fast. No one would let me turn in .
  14. Bah! you both are thinking like men. We need women to explain their side
  15. Thank goodness Banana Republic is okay Luckily, most of the companies I do business with are green.
  16. Tim Happy Birthday!!!! May all your wishes come true!
  17. I supposed I always knew men & women (generally) thought differently about sex, but it wasn't so clear cut to me until last night. I'm still on hiatus in Chicago and last night I met a friend for coffee & chatting at Panera (btw, Panera is like the most bestest place in the whole world! I really really wish they'd have one in my town in California...Asiago Cheese Bagels, Free wifi, cookies to die for ). So this friend of mine is a former high school classmate. We were having a really good time and then somehow we got onto the topic of sex. She was explaining how her fiance gets frustrated because he always wants sex but that she's not always in the mood. The fiance travels a lot for work, so after a long week away, the first thing he wants is a roll in the hay. She on the other hand, doesn't feel that way. For example, this past week, he arrived on a thursday night. She had a long day at work, there was a lot of traffic to the airport, his flight was delayed, snow on the ride back from the airport, etc. Basically, a long and draining day. While she missed him and was glad he was back, sex was the last thing on her mind. He on the other hand was excited to see her and wanted sex that night and she said 'are you kidding me, not going to happen' . However, the next day, she spent the entire day with me shopping, hanging out, eating chocolate. I also had dinner with the two of them at my favourite Pizza place (Lou Malnati's) and she was so happy that her fiance and I got along so well (this was the first time I'd met him). She said when she got home that night, she was on such an emotional high that she really wanted sex with him that night (and of course he was okay with it). At first I was like 'huh, spending the day with me made you want to have sex '. But no, we don't feel that way about each other. But she was trying to make me understand that she needs to be in a good, positive state of mind in order to be open to sex. That she needs to feel emotionally good in order for it to happen. For myself, I could have a terrible day, be mad at my partner, but if he suggested sex, I'd be all for it . As I said this was a real eye opener for me. Thank goodness I'm gay and don't have to worry about it. [edit] So after a long travel day, I'm back from Chicago. I had a good time catching up with old friends, seeing family I haven't seen in years, and celebrating my sisters graduation from nursing school. What was amazing to me was the number of age appropriate good looking guys in the Chicagoland aread versus where I live now. I probably could have gotten whiplash with all the looking I was doing. If I could get over the cold & traffic, I may have to move back there.
  18. I just realized you don't really have any questions in your blog, you just wanted to brag that you were in a 3some. Good for you
  19. "i'm my own worst enemy" I just realized that your Blog title is a line from a Pink song.
  20. I just assumed you were permanently wearing those oven mitts on your hands. I hope you find somewhere cool to move and glad that classes are going well. Vic

    Don't want to go

I grew up in Illinois and went to college in Urbana/Champaign, so the cold weather and such isn't new to me. I was just hoping I'd only be visiting/returning in May or September . Welcome to GA Greg!

    Don't want to go

Warmth & Joy . You don't know my family too well. Thanks for the laugh. Let's see, the guy sitting next to me on the plane blew his nose so much that he had a mountain of clumped up tissue paper next to me. My young niece has a cold and has been hacking up a lung for the last 24 hours. I had dinner with one of my best friends and her spouse last night, and he was coughing and had a runny nose. Odds of Vic getting sick? 3 to 1 (and I've only been here 1 day and 1/2.
