Vacation, all I ever wanted, Vacation, had to get away. Vacation...oh, wait. You're not a Go-Go.
I don't know about the rest of those yahoos, but I am not, nor will I ever be, staff.
Just saying...
I went to the last one in DC and, other than interacting in the various forums, I didn't know anyone. It was nice to put names and faces together and everyone was chatty so the conversation never slowed.
It was brought to my attention yesterday that I have family obligations that weekend, so I don't think I'm going to be able to attend like I had planned. My daughters are trying to figure out how we can do both, so we'll see.
Personally, I’m enjoying the slower pace even though I’ll regret it when his nibs gets a chance to play catch up. My inbox will get slammed with a dozen chapters in 18 hours. Been there, done that several times over the years.
Buy Me A Drink is one of my favorite stories. It is laugh out loud funny and full of wit and charm. Highly recommend this to those who may not have read it yet.
The Nancy Drew mystery series. I had almost the entire set. These books started my love of the mystery genre; it’s still the first type of book I’ll pick up when I want to read. I passed the set on to one of my nieces when I was in my early 20s. She eventually passed them on to one of her younger cousins, who, in turn, passed them on to my own daughter. They once again live on my bookshelf. Books are magical creatures.
