    Spaghetti a l'Ashi

Sweetpea, I can teach you how to make a red sauce from scratch that only takes about an hour and tastes like its been simmering all day.
  2. The William Carter Series is my all-time favorite. I have read these stories over and over. Having a new one in the works is excellent news!!
  3. I do. I have always felt that Calvert is the one for George for the long haul. I could be wrong. It does happen occasionally. But only occasionally.
  4. Happy Birthday, Renee!!! Best wishes for a great day.
  5. I was all 'Wait...what?' Happy Birthday, Joe! Best wishes for a great day.
  6. Both of these are excellent! I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a great story.
  7. Both of my daughters have tattoos.
  8. Excellent authors, the both! Highly recommend anything they write.
  9. Vacation, all I ever wanted, Vacation, had to get away. Vacation...oh, wait. You're not a Go-Go. I don't know about the rest of those yahoos, but I am not, nor will I ever be, staff. Just saying...
  10. I will continue to keep it classy.
  11. I went to the last one in DC and, other than interacting in the various forums, I didn't know anyone. It was nice to put names and faces together and everyone was chatty so the conversation never slowed. It was brought to my attention yesterday that I have family obligations that weekend, so I don't think I'm going to be able to attend like I had planned. My daughters are trying to figure out how we can do both, so we'll see.
  12. JP is the only narrator that makes sense for 9/11.
  13. Personally, I’m enjoying the slower pace even though I’ll regret it when his nibs gets a chance to play catch up. My inbox will get slammed with a dozen chapters in 18 hours. Been there, done that several times over the years.
  14. Dang Poodle! You're almost in my decade.
  15. I was thinking that same thing.
  16. That made me smile! I may be just an uncultured American, but I find the man utterly charming.
  17. Buy Me A Drink is one of my favorite stories. It is laugh out loud funny and full of wit and charm. Highly recommend this to those who may not have read it yet.
  18. Happy Birthday, Andy!!! Best wishes for a great day.
  19. Sweet baby Jesus on a cracker with cheese! I have got to stop reading these chapters at work. Made me cry again.
  20. The Nancy Drew mystery series. I had almost the entire set. These books started my love of the mystery genre; it’s still the first type of book I’ll pick up when I want to read. I passed the set on to one of my nieces when I was in my early 20s. She eventually passed them on to one of her younger cousins, who, in turn, passed them on to my own daughter. They once again live on my bookshelf. Books are magical creatures.
