  2. A Guide on how to deal with an INTJ 1. Be willing to back up your statements with facts - or at least some pretty sound reasoning. 2. Don't expect them to respect you or your viewpoints just because you say so. INTJ respect must be earned. 3. Be willing to concede when you are wrong. The average INTJ respects a fundamental truth over being "right". Withdraw your erroneous comment and admit your mistake and they will see you as a very reasonable person. Stick to erroneous comments and they will think you are an irrational idiot and treat everything you say as being questionable. 4. Try not to be repetitive. It annoys them. 5. Do not feed them a line of bull. 6. Expect debate. INTJs like to tear an idea apart to prove its worthiness. They will even argue a point they don't actually support for the sake of argument. 7. Do not mistake the strength of your conviction with the strength of your argument. INTJs do not need to believe in a position to argue it or argue it well. Therefore, it will take more than fervor to sway them. 8. Do not be surprised at sarcasm. 9. Remember that INTJs believe in workable solutions. They are extremely open-minded to possibilities, but they will quickly discard any idea that is unfeasible. INTJ open-mindedness means that they are willing to have a go at an idea by trying to pull it apart. This horrifies people who expect oohs and ahhs and reverence. The ultimate INTJ insult to an idea is to ignore it, because that means it's not even interesting enough to deconstruct. 10. This also means that they will not just accept any viewpoint that is presented to them. The bottom line is "Does it work?" - end of discussion. 11. Do not expect INTJs to actually care about how you view them. They already know that you think they are arrogant bastards with a morbid sense of humor. That's it, exactly, he he.

  7. Don't feel sorry. I'm glad you submitted the play. Thus I learned about the Theatre of the Absurd. I'm also grateful for your explanations. I actually went to wikipedia to learn more about the genre in general. Your play made me feel uncomfortable. Any 'absurd' play would, I think. It's the genre in general that makes me feel uncomfortable. It's not your play in particular. I understand the message the Theatre of the Absurd tries to convey to the audience. I understand it because of the explanations I read. I suspect the plays are addressed to an audience with a certain educational background, a literary and philosophical background perhaps. I think 'ordinary' people have difficulties to get into the play and understand the message without further explanations. However, I don't think the Theatre of the Absurd is a redundant genre. Don't we all search for meaning in life? It would be a challenge to write an 'absurd' play that is acknowledged by the general public. I would consider such a play a true and great success. Dolores
  8. I thought the part of the story with the elemental attacking David was a very interesting part. Now we know that the evil creature is still after them. I have a feeling their journey gets more dangerous soon.

  13. If it's an important part of the story, then the author should find a way to add this part. Letting go important parts of a story would change the story considerably and probably make it flat or even incomprehensible, I think. Sometimes, though, parts suddenly don't fit in anymore. The story I submitted to the anthology was part of a longer story, for instance. When rewriting this story, I found the side story was distracting from the main plot. I rewrote the story and made a whole new story of the omitted part. I have lots of parts and drafts that I hopefully can weave into future stories.

  16. I definitely like your stories. I love the detailed descriptions of World. I'm really glad you post your stories here. I hope Chandler and Marty won't be harmed. They have not yet settled in. What Chandler told Marty about his father really touched me and made me feel sad.
