Djaruki seems really interesting. And can she defend herself, but she seems rather naive of the rest of the world. Could the shift he feels be the one we thought was lost at sea; but how would he have gotten there? So many questions.

Manny is going to need lots of counseling but honestly, so will the others in his life to some extent. This is just not something that you immediately bounce back from. A lot of Manny's identity was tied up with his job, plus a lot of his friends and social life revolved around the job; and now that is sliding away, at least from his point of view. Bass will need to be willing to stand by Manny while he works out some of this anger and frustration that he will have over these changes. I think Bass will be okay, but he certainly may need some counseling on how he feels but also on how to help Manny cope. Let's hope that Rocky's second day is better than his first. Luckily for him, the person that attacked him and he took down were known bullies, but let's see how the school reacts when their parents get upset about their poor babies being beaten up. Rocky has made some "friends", but how much of their attraction to him is that he took down someone they feared to some extent. Kenny sounds more interesting, he at least knows Rocky from the neighborhood, but maybe he can get to know him better and help him integrate more into the school. Great chapter, can't wait to see what happens next.

What an interesting chapter, and Vaughn is right, critics do get special treatment to get them to view an artist or show, especially if they have to travel to do so or they themselves are prominent enough. No, they are not being paid to give a good opinion, but given accommodations to explore a new talent, a somewhat dodgy business, but one does what one must do to get press for someone up and coming. So, Heyward wants to buy this artist maybe, but why? Seems to me there is something else at play, but it is still coming round the corner so to speak. I just can't get a handle on Heyward. Can't wait for the trip, want lots of details. LOL, have to live vicariously.

How stupid could this group be. And of course, you need something done right and now; call a Queen, notice I said nothing about calm and quiet. LOL

Oh, hell to the no... Kris is going to be devastated to learn the truth. But not sure that I truly believe he will not recover. It wasn't his background that got him to where he is now; no one really new about that until recently. It was him; and to get where he is now, at that time, took hard work, smarts, a little luck, and a hell of a lot of internal fortitude. Let's hope that after he and JJ find out the truth, that he still has all of that. And I think JJ will stand by him, and God help Brad if JJ figures out what Will did. Love the idea of setting Claire up with Luke. Not sure it will go anywhere, but they actually would be good together, although isn't Luke somewhat older than Claire? Not that love has a age restriction, but still. And I sort of still hope that Claire and Jack will work things out, but I am somewhat of a romantic and remember them when they were so young and in love. Brad just needs to realize that he will never be able to put anything over on Will. Will is too much like JP with a dash of Stef and Brad thrown in. He will always be waiting around any corner that Brad thinks he can hide behind. LOL. What a wonderful way to end my Saturday, spending time with some old friends. So Nunyani was covered in gore and blood from stopping an attack on the youth center; who were these evil men? Were they from the town or did someone send them? I worry that @drsawzall and @drpaladin could be right, is this just an opening move against the youth center and the shifts in general in this town?

Well, Ninyani covered in blood isn't what I would have ever suspected. This isn't going to be good.

What an interesting start to the next story in this saga. These two seem truly unique and I can't wait to see what adventures lay ahead of them, who will help them, and who will try and stop them.

Hate that Golvinite survived like that. He would have hated it as well.

Hope it is nothing too serious and you and yours will come out of it better for it. Life happens and we all have to prioritize how we spend our time; so we all do understand. Take care of what you need to, and we will all be here when you are ready to start back up.

Well, you had to suspect that even though the Prince thinks that Greg is beyond special that one of the turns could or would go wrong in some way; the question will be is whatever is happening fatal, or can it be overcome? Greg is handling everything well, better than I honestly had hoped; but you know there will be some bumps in the road. And I sort of feel like Viscount Manhattan may well be the first one. A question might be though, how hard will Greg work to go over the bump or around it? Good chapter, can't wait to see where you take this next.

Manny will have a long road of recovery, but I think that with Bass, Rocky, Charlie, et al, that he will be well on his way. Where the limb was amputated was for the best once they realized how extensive the damage was, better to move forward and not try to fight a losing battle. We can hope that a transplant is possible, but if not, prosthetics have come a long way in the last few years. Excellent but sad chapter, can't wait to see Rocky's first day of school.

Well, I bet that was a fun conversation between Emmet and Dom, Hi, oh by the way, your brother is tainted with evil. Let's do lunch soon. Later. Finley is feeling mighty protective of Emmet, and yes, I think he needs to be upfront and honest about everything if he really thinks anything is going to happen. Will he, probably not, but I can then say, I told you so. Emmet knows instinctively that he can trust Finley, what other feelings are there might be open to interpretation, but he knew that Finley would be there for him and help him.

Heyward keeps sending me into fits of imagination. I can't decide who he really is, and it is driving me insane. He clearly despised his father and his father's choice of both art and lovers. That said, who among us hasn't had issue with family choices at one time or another; how serious those issues are or became, is really the true tale. I do think Tim is the person in Heyward's life, he just keeps popping up in too many unexpected places and times. Vaughn, if he should decide to move forward with this; will be taking on a real task. Doing something like this is never easy and is not only time consuming but the constant pushback from someone like Heyward, would be I think hard to deal with, can't see Heyward just saying, here do what you think is best. Dante seems amused by this current situation, and I think perhaps rightly so. Excellent chapter, can't wait to see what happens next.

Well, he is alive and will be able to keep most of his appendage. Losing two fingers will be rough, but you can recover from that; but the strangest things will be hard. Plus, I am pretty sure that he is right-handed, so it isn't his dominate hand. Rocky is not going to be happy; he is emotionally invested in this and will need help to understand that they had to act quickly to keep any of the necrotic tissue from spreading. Excellent chapter, thanks for the update.

Sounds like a lovely time was had by all; and a trip with his brother and sister-in-law would be nice as well, but of course, with his job, weekends are clearly out. Love that Thomas is going to move into the bungalow next door; this allows him to be much more involved with Keith, while still keeping some space for himself as they get used to each other. Never easy to deal with renters, no matter short term or long term, always turns into more work that you ever plan on. Excellent chapter.
