I honestly can't believe that Jack is being this obtuse. I swear for some men, if it isn't in an ironclad contract they just seem to have no idea of the reality of the situation. Jack would not only be losing Claire, but I don't think either kid would take his side; and while the rest of the family would always treat Jack correctly, I think he would lose a lot of his support system as well. All of that said, not sure that Brad is the one that should have been having this conversation, I know Claire asked him to; but she has to have this conversation with Jack, or it will never really stick. I just love that JJ takes his therapy so seriously. With all of his issues the last few years; therapy is a must for him but it only works when you put the time and effort into it. I think taking Kris to California will help them all in the long run. I felt that JJ almost had his Cinderella moment at the end of the chapter. Cannot wait to see what happens next....

I know that is the favorite fantasy of some evil people, but I will truly hunt you down and hurt you if you ever do that...

Pickle strikes me as my kind of woman. And she is sharp tongued and has all her wits about her. Quigley was lucky that he met up with her prior to his attempt at taking the two he is after; he is new to this as he never had to plan out any of the ones they went after before, he should have thought about what the security at the club would do to him when he tried to take the two he is after. I love back stories...

Well, we keep getting hints of what Emmett is fully but then they disappear like whiffs of fog in the sunlight. Noah is bitter, but only he can take that next step. Yes, keep offering the help, but he has to decide to take it. Finley wasn't a coward; he was smart enough to know that something was wrong and tried to analyze it without rushing in. And he was right. Maybe a little primer on Finley's family, sounds like some complicated relationships there.

Well, we know he survived; but not a crime to be young and dumb and think you can handle more than you truly can. I always love the backstories...

How often do our dreams as children actually work out just as we planned them? Of course, no one could have seen the chain of events that the evil that has invaded the cosmos as created.

What an uplifting chapter overall. I am so glad that Suoki was able to catch up with some old friends and find out that this group was able to rebuild their lives; they may need to help others if they can. But they are not ready to get involved in any of the fighting that is taking place out in the cosmos. Was really hoping that Lyoth was going to be there; who does the second ship belong to? Suoki was shocked to hear what happened to Quigley; and it just shows the horror of what they are up against. Glad that the boys tried to teach Suoki and doesn't sound like they took advantage of him. Great chapter...

Well, the week went better than I was thinking it would. Rocky needs structure; but then all kids do at that age. Karate or any of the martial arts are great for more than self-defense, of course, that is what they are designed for, but great work outs and helps with balance and all kinds of other things. Rocky seems to be handling his parents death; but that could be masking some trauma that will be set off but something rather unexpected. I hope that someone thinks about getting Rocky some therapy. Excellent chapter, can't wait to see what happens next.

Test of Blood is outstanding; and of course, same for The Kandric Saga but noticed Long Term Hold on it again. Don't know what there is about this type of story; but a ton seem to have holds of some kind or another.

Well, wish Lyoth would get there, he and the Captain Souki need to be reunited. I like Tahil, and like that he is sure enough of himself to introduce himself to Souki, and glad how welcoming Suoki was as well. Can't wait for the music, that always makes things better. Seems like a really interesting place to visit, and glad that returning has been a good thing; sometimes when you go back to some place from your past, it just doesn't live up to the memories. Excellent chapter.

Martin and Bart want all the dirt dished but Vaughn really doesn't know anything yet, and I think yet is the operative word. Plus, since it would affect Dan's job, not sure that he would say much anyway. But glad that Vaughn does have old friends that he stays in contact with. I wonder if Ted was on a scouting mission for Heyward, maybe snooping a little bit into Dan and Vaughn both. Oh, I don't doubt the security system upgrade is real, but was there an alternative reason to follow Dan to the club. Loved this chapter, the writing was exceptionally witty and flowed wonderfully.

Always such interesting selections...

Misery loves company; until you try to prove your misery is greater than someone else's. People that have never served in the military or been around those that have, can't really have any idea what it can be like. I was hoping this would go better; but even with Emmett pushing all his magic out into the room, it did not end well. I am glad that Finley at least tried to help Noah, but it will take much more than one visit to try and establish something that might help them both; plus, might work better without so many people that have no idea what they have been through..

We appreciate the attempt...

So, the family was involved to some as yet unknown degree with the Russian mob; not something that would be healthy to anyone in the long term. I would worry about some of the family money being tied to something not on the up and up; but perhaps Boris fixed that as much as possible before his death. Was the death tied to a mob issue or something else? Being gay in the Russian mafia would not be looked upon with great affection. I like Bass as much as anyone can with the little exposure. I really like Rocky, and personally did not find him full of himself at all; sort of wonder why @drsawzall felt that? He knows what he wants and what he needs from those around him. Probably smart for someone with is family background; and the fact that Bass had to step in with the former tennis coach would easily explain his issues with having someone around him that he doesn't know well being gay. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Hope the surgery with Levie goes well; but you know he would be happy with how the situation with Linda and the others resolved itself. Few things can be as important as the love of ones family; and few things can be more destructive than that loved if turned in the wrong direction. Can't wait to see how this all plays out. Still want the back story on the idiot gunning for the BroDads...

So Greg has his council, but is it ready to help him lead, we can certainly hope so. Much happened and many lives were changed in this chapter; how they plays out, really has yet to be determined. But what an adventure it will be. Can't wait for the next update.

A wonderful adventure that takes us all on an amazing ride. Not sure you could really understand all of the nuances to this story without reading Widderkin first, but that would be a great time and a better adventure as well. In this story, we get to see how power can be manipulated for both good and evil. We see how Corporate reach has truly corrupted the body politic as we know it. But we also see how even that can be subverted when the right people work toward the right results, but even that doesn't promise a victory just a chance to make a better deal. Well written and the story flows well; but the characters are what makes this truly a grand time and adventure. Pull up a seat and get reading.

The PM did a masterful job; but the victory was really Woorawa and the men. Their passion to protect was needs to be preserved is beyond commendable. Nathan is a joy to be around, and I hope he gets to visit the penguins. The men have a job to do; but they also need to focus of getting themselves ready for future in all the many forms that may take. I personally can't wait until the new story post. What a wonderful job you did with this one; and can't wait to see what you do with the next one.

Well, Emmett seems to be more than a little tied up with Dex, and that would clearly explain why Dom is a little cold. That said, this caught be off guard, not in a bad way, just a surprise. Finley has the reflexes and they have stayed sharp. I do hope that he and Noah are able to maybe help each other, but not sure I am going to hold my breath for it to happen. I think we are going to need to stock up on tissues for the next chapter or two.

Let's hope the deprogramming works and Nunta is able to start getting some education; just the basics to start with, but more as she is able to understand what it is she is learning. Alihte probably needs some remedial help as well. Keep the hungry and dumb, and under your thumb. Mama needs to be punished, but doubt it will be coming any time soon.
