Well, obviously not Jaden or Damien or Kieran would have recognized him. So who created this kid?

I was sort of afraid of this. Jaden has been turned and is subverted to some extent; can he be saved or will he be lost for good.

I think Kieran needs to warn Aiden as soon as possible; although, SIGMA may already have someone doing that.

I can't decide if they really need to work together or just work in concert with each other; with both Kieran and Aiden doing their own thing.

Well, that actually makes a lot of sense. If they could develop his ability on top of their own, think how truly powerful they would be.

I am truly not sure who to trust in this story. I have decided that I do trust Aiden, but not sure what would happen if he had to choose between saving Jaden and the rest of the world. There are a lot of similarities between Kieran and Aiden and what they have gone through to this point.

At this point, I am not sure that Aiden is really fully sane and I trust no one that we have been introduced to recently...

Well, we knew that name was going to pop up again soon. I still think he is the one with the highest score...

Ah, so they were after Aiden and not the military but a splinter group; but what is the groups actual goal? Who took Jaden?

Well, was the Sgt followed and they were on to Kieran, or did Aiden do something, and they were on to him? How this plays out will depend a great deal on the answer to that question.

Oh, wow, we knew Aiden was not who he appeared to be but so did not see that coming... I still feel that Damian is more involved than we know yet.

Hmmm, not sure that was the smartest move. Kieran may be stronger than Aiden, but he might not be able to control him, and if not; then no secret would be safe. I wonder if Damian is the person with a higher score. Kieran was very young and had just realized he had this ability before Damian went away, what if Damian was in the same spot? Colin is an interesting addition.

Ah, so even the best laid plans....

Good chapter, flowed really well. You knew he was going to end up with a really high score, I was betting on the highest ever but second will do. Have to wonder if he will be able to control the Sgt.

Almost did not start this story, just saw it and the idea sounds interesting; but obviously slow posting since it started in 2016 and not that many chapter. This one was enough to convince me to give it a go; well written and the premise it truly intriguing.

Writing and pacing is very good, the character development obviously isn't complete, but we are only two-chapters in. Not sure about posting the longer video, YouTube and other sites can really vary on what is allowed.

Interesting start to this new story. I have always loved to cook as well, started very young helping my grandmother. Can't wait to see what you do with this idea...

Very interesting little story about what if... Funny but a much too logical ending for me. Well written as always and flowed really well.

Well, really did like the story, well written as your stuff usually is; but have to admit, I was hoping for a haunting...

This was one of the most poignant chapters that I think you have ever written. While there were some truly nice moments like when Zalna and T'san made love and when they were helping the weavers; the overall feeling of the chapter was melancholy for me. The writing and pacing were spot on and the descriptive nature of the chapter was lovely. I just kept thinking about all of those like V'nast who lost the person that they cared about most in life. What will both their life and the life of the ones that went forward really be without each other? And the two that have disappeared, where did they go? Did they die and the dragons just not understand because of the disruption in the flow of things and so no keening or did they try something like going back in time and it not working? I think this will be a truly interesting story; rarely do we think about the ones left behind on something like this. Zalna is right; before everyone else realizes what is happening, all the weyrs should be checked and anything left that Benden will need should be collected. Can't wait to see what happens next, truly remarkable... I will say that I have expected D'gar to have left a clue, since he had to know that Zalna would be coming to check on what happened, or did those going forward not know that Benden would be staying behind? So many questions....

Browsing and saw the review for this story from one of my favorite authors on this site, so thought I would give it a chance; so glad that I did. Read it in one sitting; and it truly flows well enough to do so. The main characters a so well drawn and you are immediately drawn to them. Some of the secondary characters are not as fleshed out but that did nothing to impede my enjoyment reading this story. The writing and plotting were both first rate as is everything that I have read from Headstall. The story is fiction and truly well written and constructed; but not sure that I could see it playing out quite like this in reality, but what a wonderful world it would be if it could. The idea that family is truly who you choose to make it; just permeates this whole story. We see that actual family can do everything they can to make you miserable but that only happens in you decide to let them. Don't want to say too much; don't want to give anything away. Get a nice cup of tea; and get ready to spend a little enjoyable time getting to know Craig and Jared; you will love them as much as I do.

For Jared to have taken the stop to find out about Ronnie was just so important. Ronnie will always be his child's father; but Jared will always be her Dad. Not everyone would be capable to doing what he did; speaks so much to the kind of person he is. Love how Craig even admitted that he was nesting, so cute. I do see them making it; or at least hope they do; I will pretend they do no matter what. A delightful little story, not the breath of some of your others, but truly well done. The writing and plotting were excellent, quicky drew the reader in. The character development was good, but some of the secondaries were not as fleshed out as you normally have them. Could see a follow up to this easily, but you must follow your muse...

It is hard to always be the bitch, you do have to really work at it. Maybe Carly just needs something or someone good in her life; we can always hope. So glad that everything went well with the meeting; Alan seems like a nice guy. Hope they can work together, some people just can't even if they are in lock step in other aeras of their life.

Fully understand Craig's reaction, but glad Jared was there to get him to breathe and take a moment. They just seem so perfect together but they are moving at light speed and will need to figure a few things out as they go forward, including how a few things will actually work.

Such a passion that Jared and Craig possess between them. Maybe Carly finding a man would help her out. Love how open Marian is with everyone. Just so well done.
