  1. We didn't even hardly get to meet Jimmy Tan at all. I doubt it is a coincidence that he dies in the same manner as Martin and Alexis just a few days after meeting Rick; but who was nearby that saw them together? I think we all knew it was going to turn serial killer; but are these the only three? That would be a big cooling off period between Martin and Alexis. So glad that Beth and I am sure Tom agreed to let Jimmy and Shane have Martin's old clothes, I wonder if it was just the clothes that made them see the resemblance to Martin? If it was that pronounced wouldn't someone have noticed earlier? I can't believe the goons thought they were going to intimidate Helen, scare her yes perhaps, but force something out of her? I think that the fact that Martin communicated with Rick, even if he doesn't fully realize it; means that the dreams mean more than they realize, but we will see.
  2. A truly interesting chapter with a wide range of emotions. On many levels reemphasized the idea that family is who you decide it is, not necessarily who you were born into or with. Strange that Alex is related to the LT but really wasn't even sure of it. I think Alex was right about Max, outside hard as stone, but inside, more like molten lava.
  3. Some truly amazing stories here.
  4. I truly believe that there is something beyond our world. And I also believe that under certain circumstances, that world and ours can connect in ways that we will never understand. Was this Martin reaching out from beyond; or was it simply Rick's subconscious trying to make sense of certain clues that he is just now starting to try and piece together. Maybe being back here where it all began for him is triggering something in his memories that he buried long ago. Can't wait to see what he finds in the old computer journals. Jimmy and Shane are blessed to have the people in their lives that they do at this moment. Tom and Beth, along with Rick, Helen, and others are giving them a chance to truly turn their lives around. Let's hope they are able to do so. So, Beth believes that Rick's sister has changed. Maybe she has, but that doesn't always make up for the actions of the past. We will have to see how and if this plays out at all.
  5. Wonderful chapter, Remy can't take the blame unto himself for everything. And while Sarah accepted some of the responsibility, we all know who stirred everything up to start with, and she is who should be punished. The mistresses handled this all really well.

    Ian & Tom

Louis is truly a good person. I really appreciate him taking an interest in Ian. Ian is just a little slow but with a few people like Louis around to help him get some confidence, he could start to really blossom. Tom is not what I was expecting. Maybe he could stay there and help get some of the buildings in shape. I wonder if Louis is really wrong, and someone is coming in looking for things and not getting everything back where it was to start with. Just love this one.
  7. Jimmy and Shane will do well with Tom and Beth. Oh, there maybe a few bumps in the road, but both couples will adjust and the boys will get a chance to start over and find out a way to make their lives better in all sorts of unexpected ways. It is always amazing what you hold onto when you lose someone that you truly care for. Rick is taking Adam home to meet the parents. Love this so much. A night on the boat would be easier for all concerned I suspect. Let's hope the passwords and log in's help. Anyone's memory would be suspect, but both accounts would be like a snapshot of what was actually going on and might have more clues than one realizes. Honestly, not truly sure that I want to know what happened to Martin, at least not in full. Great chapter.
  8. Let's all hope for the best...
  9. Damn, I knew a disaster was coming, of course, my hope was Claire and Anduin would bear the brunt of it physically. Let's hope that Cain isn't hurt so badly it effects his future. Almost, for just a moment felt sorry for Anduin, but it passed. Marc and Remy are so good on so many levels, but I just don't see how they can ever truly be. Excellent chapter.
  10. Will and Travis are being pulled into two different realities. Will is Harvard and all the hard work that goes into that, with little time for anything else that doesn't revolve around school or school activities. Travis into the make-believe world of Hollywood where you play as hard as you work, and publicity rules the day. Jeremy is redoing Travis's house, and no one wants to live in that; so where is Travis and the boys staying while the work is ongoing? The show sounds like a different cast, but same version of perhaps the OC or Gossip Girl. Can't wait to see how Travis fits in there and who he connects with on a personal level. I do worry about Travis having to play a character that seems to be cut from his own life. and with a father like he had, that might not be the best thing to relive.
  11. So, we have reached the end of another amazing chapter in this multigenerational saga. The family was under attack from the Ortega cartel again, albeit via their attempt to take over a Serbian mafia family and pulled Travis and Buck Industries into it as well. However, the family came out of it in a better position and the Orgeta and Serbian mafia group came out weaker or at least more hesitant to go after them again. Perhaps, the biggest questions from these encounters and the resolution of these issues would be, who is Juno? And what connection to the family is there? You just know that this is going to come back at some point, but who's ass will it bite? Will and Travis have reached an understanding moving forward about how they view and react to others in their orbit, but will it hold and what other threat will come up to try and drive them apart? This will lead directly into the new chapter of the saga. Jeremy's issue with higher education has been dealt with; and I have to wonder if he will approach it with the same drive that he showed in his skating career, and with the same level of success? Will helped Jeremy with the issues brought on by Brad and his need to control every aspect of every decision and facet of anything going on around him. Will and Jeremy resolved their issues and appear to be tighter than ever, but will that last as well? Will and Marie have made a successful transition to Harvard and are proving that the faith everyone had in them was justified. We said goodbye to Jack, honestly until almost the end of his life, arguably the most stable male of his generation. Damn, those midlife crises. HIs actions brought Jessica into the family orbit, and how will that play out? Will's compound that he envisioned for his generation in Hawaii is coming together. The design is set and the final ownership division and future seems to be secure. Can't wait to see what happens next, and looks like from the posting of the first chapter of TRAVISTY, we won't have to wait long. Thank you so much as always @Mark Arbour
  12. Louis is a good person, and honestly, that is nothing to be sneezed at. I hope that he continues to interact with Ian, perhaps get him out of his shell some, sounds like his aunt isolated him in some ways, and he hasn't tried to move past that since his aunt passed away. Louis seems to want to like Charlie maybe more than he should. I don't know, I can't get a good read on Charlie. But glad to see that he is at least smart enough not to spend money he doesn't have. While Charlie and Louis explore the outbuildings, I have to wonder if Ian might not be someone that could help in some way. At the very least help clean them out and maybe help organize them some. The Nimrud Panther will show up where no one expects it to be located or found. Excellent chapter all around.
  13. Does it seem to anyone else that there is something else, just out of reach? Not surprised that Uma is involved, but I honestly can't see why she would not have tried to save Madeline, unless she knew it was Witch's blood and knew it was too late. But how would she have known that, unless she either gave it to Kate or pointed it out to Kate? And it is obvious that she has no use for Phoebe, but to allow her to be injured in all of this, and not even try to really help her, well that is just pushing it past the veil. I totally understand Nathan feeling like he doesn't want to get pulled in deeper into this morass than he already is. While the Bells are his clients, how much does he really owe then? And speaking of the Bells, are we sure that something he was involved in didn't blow up and the girls are just collateral damage?
  14. Jimmy and Shane will never have a better chance to start turning their lives around than this. Tom and Beth understand them and will care and protect them. Rick and Helen will be there if anything happens. Going back is never easy when you are dealing with a traumatic even from the past, but sometimes you have to go back through something to be able to move on from it. Telling those you care about that you are moving on from a past love can be one of the hardest things, but if they truly care, they will be happy for you and know how hard it is for you to do so.
  15. Can't wait.

    Jessy

This is such a sweet chapter. Jessy is a very perceptive young lady. And she cares about others, have to wonder how long till that is worked out of her. Her idea of Frank drawing a picture to apologize is actually good. Even if Dante wants more explanation than just the picture, it could at least get Frank to talk about why, as I am sure there was something more to his behavior. Carolyn showed more vulnerability toward her granddaughter than I would have thought she had in her, even with the current situation. Just so well done from start to finish.
  17. Oh, just can't wait to see how this new story goes.
  18. Jimmy and Shane are going to get to meet Tom and Beth soon; but more significantly Adam is going to have a meet the parents, or as close as it can get with Rick soon as well. I keep wondering if this current situation is tied to Martin; could he have been being blackmailed or something to become involved in child prostitution, although I think that Martin was a couple of years older than Jimmie, Shane, and Casey are, although not sure of that. Seems a little farfetched, would be easier to go after runaways, but maybe someone became obsessed with him or Rick and went after him because of that. Can't wait to meet Tom and Beth, and for them to meet this crew, plus especially Adam. So much going on, can't wait for the next update.
  19. Thanks as always.
  20. Ahhhhh. Stop adding to my reading list, it isn't even manageable now.
  21. Louis is going to get a visit from Thomas, a man that wants to be intimidating but simply has not had a chance, will Louis be who he gets to practice on? LOL Charlie is a good friend, Louis might want more; but is going to take him shopping to try and help him make a good impression on Kelsey, his on again off again partner. Exciting times seem to be ahead, in one form or another.
  22. Sorry, I don't care what Flynn did, this is a step to far for me. I am with Dante on this, Flynn is basically still a child himself, and frankly, he is a true reflection of Britney. If this happens to him, it should happen to her. And honestly, that would not make me feel any better.
  23. Okay, first of all, I think Adam is one of the good guys. Of course, I could be wrong, but don't believe so. Plus, Rick isn't saying much that would give Adam anything detailed, just an outline of what is going on. Rick is going to have to get a little more of a hard shell, or he is going to be so tied up and twisted up, that Helen will be right, he won't be able to function. That doesn't mean become jaded, just get a little harder shell; of course, he is rather new to this department and this position, so time will tell. Getting Casey hidden and Jimmy and Shane out of town will help; but what about all the others, they can't find a place for all of them. I truly don't understand people that use kids like that; I just can't wrap my head around it.
  24. I did nothing for Black Friday, nor will I for Cyber Monday. I am doing a few things for Giving Tuesday, as the company I work for will match those funds up to a certain amount that are given on that day. I have to admit except for my sixteen nieces, and nephews and great nieces and nephews I no longer buy presents for anyone over the age of 18. I still have sixteen under that age and at about 60.00 dollars a pop, that is all that I can afford.
  25. Wonderful little side story that allows us to get a better understanding of Russ, one of the more interesting characters in the Parborough Chronicles. We get to see Russ with his brother, Con and his wife Lisa and their two football mad boys. Russ gets into a bit of a fix; but is rescued by an unlikely mother son duo. This of course, leads Russ to making a couple of new friends that helps him finding new ways to relate to others. This time away, even if he is busy with family, allows Russ to really think about how his relationship with Brian and Gordon has progressed and how much that means to him. He, with Con's help, comes to a decision, but one that Russ will have to put before Brian and Gordon upon his return to see how it flies. A lovely jaunt through some picturesque areas of Ireland allows us to get a nice view of Russ and how these stories could move forward. A warning, unless you have read some of the previous stories, you will be lost during certain aspects of this one. That doesn't mean you can't enjoy this one without having read the previous ones, just means you will have to allow yourself a little more imagination to fill in the blanks.
