I have to wonder how Mistress Ellen will feel if she were to learn all of Remy's secrets. Of course, many of them don't make him look as bad as the women that were in charge of his life in his early years, but still. While I trust Marc, I don't think I care for or trust this Keith at all. The conversation between Mistress Ellen and Remy was very intimate, not in a sexual way at all, but in a way that is more than a little hard to fully define.

This was such an interesting chapter. I actually feel more than a little sorry for John. In some ways, he still sees Dante as that small boy in the dance class, but Dante has grown up and is as much of his own man as this society will allow. Danica is a little bit proud of him. Did she expect him to refuse this offer to come back with her, no, but I think she looks at Dante with a little more if not pride, then at least a more respect for his decision. Like Dottie or at least have an impression of liking her from this brief glimpse, and likewise, don't think I care much for Daphne.

All of this could have so easily drawn the family into conflict with not one but perhaps two separate cartels. This could have been disastrous for all involved. JP is right, while the family needs the information, they need to get it to the FBI and get out from underneath this as soon as possible. Glad that they waited to open the thumb drive until they could divert attention away from themselves, and glad that Brad did not transfer any money. Petrovic could still try and link them, but it would be almost impossible to really prove anything and does he want to make enemies of the family, they do have wonderful connections to various branches of the government. Claire, Marie, and John needed to get away and find a place to relax without any pressure, Will getting everyone to the compound in Hawaii was a smart move. Even better he got Brad to come with him, and Jake, Stef, and JP followed. This will give everyone a chance to digest what is going on and have some down time to prepare for anything that is still coming. Wonderful chapter, and this story just keeps getting better and better.

Well, for a night that started with such promise, this one ended with a shocking discovery. Kilroy is correct, he needs to make some explanations, but he needs to get a hold of Bane immediately, he can explain while Bane is on his way. Wonder what that will do to the resell value of the car?

Louis may well have found a place that allows him the freedom to do what he wants, how he wants it. Obviously, Louis has no real idea of what his uncle did or the possible wrongs he committed. When he starts to go through the other buildings on his uncle's place, he may find the most interesting things, or not. Charlie seems to have latched onto Louis, is it just because he is a fellow artist and sound as if the only other male in this little grouping, or is there something else involved. Ian being where he is, might prove more useful than at first glance, we will see. Can't wait to see where this one is taken.

Well, I am sure that Jarvis is busy winning and dinning someone very important at the moment. LOL His missus seems to be bit of work herself. Already like this mother, but I doubt she knows much about what he really does. So, the Assistant Police Commissioner is possible involved, could it go even higher? Rick has asked Martin's parents to step up and help with the two kids, but will this bring them closer to danger? So good.

A wonderful introduction to @kbois and perfect way to spend some time reading and enjoying some tea and cake.

I do believe that this trip has made a real difference in the relationship between Russ and Con. I am so glad that Russ has really spent some time with Lisa and the boys as well. And I can't wait to see how the next baking adventure turns out. I hope we get to see Russ on his return for the festival, maybe bringing guest as well. What a delightful chapter and I can't wait to see what happens next.

NOOOOOOO.... This needs at least a dozen more chapters to even start on the homestretch.... LOL

Damn, if Kate is truly dead, well, I am just totally lost in this one. There seems to be so many directions this could go, but for some reason, I don't think that Madeline and Kate fought each other. If anything, I have to wonder if they were not working together or perhaps defending against a common foe. Dust is really troubled about how this is playing out with the coven, and I think for good reason. Wonderful chapter can't wait to see what happens next.

A little surprised that Rick is willing to involve Martin's parents in this, especially with the death of Alexis. If this does tie back to Martin in some way, wouldn't that be putting them in danger? Of course, I guess the situation with Jimmy and Shane really aren't tied to that, but even having Rick back in their life might be dangerous. Rick, like any good police officer, knows to use and take advantage of whatever opportunity there is.

WOW, that is so not how I saw Dante meeting his biological mother and father going. But I am proud that Dante made the decision he make. It was as if Danica Sapphire believed by the mere idea that she was his mother he would flee back to Denser's Port with her. She obviously had done no research on Dante or talked to anyone that actually knew him. Her attitude towards him, and toward his biological father was guaranteed to push him away from her; or could that have been what she actually wanted? Did she make the trip and the offer as something to shut her John up? Did he want his son home, and she only played at trying to get him back? Oh, just so many questions. Dante needed to talk to Sawyer and Tom both before his biological mother appeared and that has not changed. He still needs to have a serious discussion with both of them. He needs to talk to Frank as well. I can't tell if Frank is upset by what happened; or upset by what happened to make him react that way. That is the most responsible moment that I have seen from Blaise in this whole story. Brilliantly done.

Dammit. Jimmy provided them some very crucial information, but if something has happened to Shane, will he keep doing so? And where is Shane and the officer that was supposed to be guarding him? Like Helen, I trust the Richardson, but I am not sure that I truly trust anyone else yet. Did we ever find out who the two guys were that questioned Shane before Helen and Rick did the first time? I would have thought that would have been a priority, and I don't think anyone has even mentioned it since.

Thanks for the update as always. Trying to decide how much of my Thanksgiving shopping that I can get away with doing this week, absolutely hate having to do any the week of Thanksgiving.

Well, Granger has a moment of passion, but most of this chapter is spent trying to deal with matters just out of his control. While Addington and Hawkesbury are attempting to push Granger into something that he knows he has neither the time to do nor the inclination; Granger goes to someone as wily as he is, The Queen. She fully understands why it will be better to have him around during certain dates, and this is something she will move heaven and earth to ensure. Neither the Prime Minister nor the Foreign Secretary will be able to maneuver around her. Daventry will be the obvious choice to replace Granger, but will Granger be able to smooth his way? So much excitement, but like @PrivateTim suggest, Granger needs a good gun battle to really get his blood pumping.

I can think of almost nothing worse than to know that your loved one would one day just disappear, and you would most likely never know what happened to them. Could you not build a cage or something to keep him from going out? Something to keep him confined. Of course, you would have to worry that he would harm himself trying to get out, perhaps even fatally, so not sure that is the answer either. No matter how strong the love is, would it be enough to survive this?

OMG, you can't just choose one....

I can't decide about Preston, that said, if Travis is that against him, Will is going to have to back off of him. I can understand why Will likes Preston, but if Will can veto someone that Travis likes, then Travis can veto someone that Will likes. I bet both Will and Marie aced the math test. I can't wait for Hawaii. I think they are right, Petrovic is trying to set them up, but the question is why? It seems like he would want them as allies against Fellowes and the Ortegas. This is making my head hurt.

So, we finally get some information about Martin, at least more than we had. Obviously, the murder of Martin and Alexis are linked and the once again, the obvious tie is Rick; but the questions is why? Why kill Martin all those years ago? Was he really the target, or was Rick the target and Martin got in the way? Why have they assumed the sex with Martin was consensual? Could the murder have raped him and killed him in the middle of the rape? It had to be someone that Martin and Rick both knew back then. Probably someone older, but who? Maybe the case files from Martin's murder will reveal something that Rick doesn't know about? I mean, he had to have been a suspect at some point in the investigation, right? Why Alexis? Rick literally had just met him once. Did Martin and Alexis look similar? I need details. LOL Lord, I would not remember my passwords from anything that was five years ago. Thanks for the update but can't wait for the next one.
