The Verdict and One More Problem
centexhairysub commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in The Verdict and One More Problem
Much like @chris191070, I think the verdict was the correct one. I don't think the prosecution proved their case beyond a reasonable doubt, it was all circumstantial and that might have worked with a jury, but less likely with a judge. One question, if the judge found him innocent, how can he sentence him to be evaluated and a possible six month sentence in a psychiatric facility? Marie Louise is the one that needs to be in the psych ward, and pronto... Nelson has to be able to realize, and I can assure you his father will make sure a DNA test is done. Nelson may have been a horny teenager, but except for some humiliation, won't have to deal with Marie Louise much longer.- 42 comments

A new potential ally just when they needed it, coincidence? Don't like the idea of splitting the team to hit two places at once. Humans fear everything.

Weekly Wrap Up (Aug. 31 - Sept. 6)
centexhairysub commented on wildone's blog entry in Gay Authors News
I so prefer this time of year, truly hate Daylight Savings Time... As always, thanks for the updates and reminders. Woo Hoo, got all seven words this week again. Would think there would be additional issues with Amazonian tribes, but then again, who knows. LOL -
This was just so sweet from start to finish. I do think that Finley and Emmett are so right for each other in so many ways. They just have to remember to communicate and be open and honest with each other. How cute would that be, children, little unicorns with wings...

Jeremy, Jack, and the Mob
centexhairysub commented on Mark Arbour's story chapter in Jeremy, Jack, and the Mob
Jeremy had a lovely birthday made all the better because once again, for all his faults, Will proved how loyal he is to Jeremy. He will put his necklace away to make sure that Kris's gift is unique. I find it so strange that on so many levels Will and Travis seem to click and instantly know what the other is doing, and then something will happen, and they can both be totally obtuse to the other's reactions. I think that Guy Fellowes is much more than he seems. He is plotting a coup and is trying to use the Crampton, Schulter, Buck, etc. families to weaken Petrovic's position. But he may well have made a fatal error. He appears to have no idea how well connected the family is to certain Mexican and Asian cartels. Have to admit, Jack's whole behavior this past year has confused me, could there be something more behind his behavior? As always, we will simply have to wait and see how our delightful maestro @Mark Arbour resolves all these dilemmas.- 33 comments

There are no such things as coincidence in something like this. Kilroy was obviously supposed to have been the first victim, but why? Kilroy needs to come clean with Todd fully, he could be putting him in danger. Any chance that any of the surgical instruments in the garage have been used recently?

Yikes, nothing about this development sounds good. VIREX started or caused something that our boys may well have to die trying to resolve.

A Friendly? Welcome Back, and September Brings Trouble
centexhairysub commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in A Friendly? Welcome Back, and September Brings Trouble
At this point, I am not sure that the State has proved anything, but of course, the only person they have to prove something to is the judge. -
Me time & Matt’s Mother visits
centexhairysub commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in Me time & Matt’s Mother visits
Always amazing to me that we think we have moved past our mistakes but there always seems to be that once person from the past that remembers them all, and I do mean all. Sounds like this was a good visit that everyone got something out of in one way or another. I am glad that Graham wants to learn more about what Matt is on about. I think even if you don't develop a passion for what your partner or significant other cares about, knowing something about it and being able to carry on a conversation about it is important. -
I could honestly see Alice marrying Matthew despite the fact she does not love him in that way; just to save him; and annoy the hell out of quite a few other people. But even with the success of her writing, could she save him? As long as Maggie is alive Matthew's wife would not be the Matriarch, and I don't know that Alice would be willing to play second fiddle in a second home. Yes, the one she grew up in because well, it is her mother's, but not another one I don't think.

Echoes We Can’t Explain
centexhairysub commented on Tony S.'s story chapter in Echoes We Can’t Explain
Virex started something but their experiments attracted the wrong attention from somewhere other than our reality. Leave it to something evil to attract a bigger badder evil. -
The Proof is in the... Creature Feature!
centexhairysub commented on Valkyrie's blog entry in Gay Authors News
Cannot wait to see what our talented authors come up with for this one. -
Well, honestly, I am shocked that some government goon squad hasn't tried to grab them. In this case, a good offense might well be the best defense.

Meeting the Dad, and Ed Visits a Psychiatrist
centexhairysub commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Meeting the Dad, and Ed Visits a Psychiatrist
I am totally baffled by the courts, his parents, and the schools having Ed go back to school. I understand continuing his lessons, but home schooling would have been a much better choice. Not the least because school or it's environment was where the teasing and abuse started. -
Rory learns about Gavin & Jason
centexhairysub commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in Rory learns about Gavin & Jason
This is almost taking family togetherness too far. LOL I was quite sure that Matthew would be okay after the initial moment of oh no. Rory handled it about as well as could be expected, and rather smart of him to go to Irma. -
Snowballs, Advices and New Insights
centexhairysub commented on Celian's story chapter in Snowballs, Advices and New Insights
Dante has never been able to truly make any decisions for himself in regard to what he might find attractive, or who he wanted to have sex with. That doesn't mean he can't do that, just that he has not as of yet. I think this is something that he needs to really think on, however. Frank isn't as much of a child as most of his family thinks, but not sure that he fully understands that what he did hurt Dante as much as it did. Frank is large enough that without preparation and care, he can do some damage. Can't decide if he is falling in love with Dante, or the idea of who he thinks Dante is to him. Henry got some honest answers from Dante, they might not be fully what he needed, but they were honest. How many weeks has it been since Mistress Alice and Dante had sex? -
Jake may never be able to reach out to Killian, or he may call the next day. If and when is up to him. Jake has so much to process that it will take a long time to recover from this. I think Judy will help him though. Killian made a few very foolish decisions, but in the end, he did save Jake and perhaps Kane as well. Came to this story late, will play catch up with the rest as I can.
-
Have watched it on Netflix more than once. It is brilliant.
-
I know from a story perspective, Killian could never have called the police, but in real life, he definitely should have. He could not have saved any of the rest, and honestly, Jake might have died too, but he would not have had to have been the one to kill Todd. Even if Todd deserved to die, Killian should never have been the one to kill him. I guess Seth's nickname for Killian was apropos.
-
Killian will be the fool and not call the police... If he is that much of a fool, he is too stupid to live anyway.
-
Killian was as big of an ass as Zach. While he may not have known what Asher was going to do, he certainly should have talked to Jake before all of this came out.
-
Zach may have been an ass, but he didn't deserve that. Killian is being stupid on several levels right now. He is not only endangering himself but others.
-
Did Gilly break the windows or was it Zack and his group or was it Batman? Killian needs to develop more of a survival instinct or he isn't going to survive this tribulation.
-
My mind is in a total whirl, and I can't land on a particular person yet. Todd seems too obvious, but he is someone that Jake would wait to tell him about if asked.
-
Truly hope that the deal with Kane doesn't blow up in anyone's face. Asher and Killian were just not meant to be. Wish Killian would pay more attention to the book; I really think it means something.
