  1. Thanks for the update and insight.
  2. Small world indeed, this could and will get messy way to fast.
  3. Oh, a gay commune, never thought about that. The Rotary club will be all up in arms. LOL. Graham has got to stop worrying about saying things in front of Peter, he has dealt with his past and it is just that the past. Surely Peter realizes that he means nothing about him in his comments. Freddie is a real delight; glad he is handling all of these changes so well. And glad that he is willing to help keep Graham organized, not every teen at that age would consent to spending time doing that. Vince is right about Jacob, a certain distance is required, but friendly and pleasant is always a good thing. Matt has so much going on, but this little chat with Graham at the end of the day was nice, and shows that Matt is moving forward as well.
  4. Wonderful chapter, so much going on with so many variables. Poor Henry, seemingly shunned by his own mother now. He feared that his reaction with Dante had made Dante mad at him. Nothing could be further from the truth. Dante cares for Henry as a little brother deeply. Dante must decide how he feels about Frank and how he is going to handle it. While Frank is clearly not a child, Dante could easily hurt him more deeply than even I think he realizes if he isn't careful. Sawyer is just a total flirt. Blaise confuses me. Mistress Alice and Valentine share a past, and Dante is right, the fact that all of these families grew up together knowing each other can complicate matters, but it gives you a sense of belonging. Good for Matthew.
  5. We get a look at their past. The team suffered losses in civilian lives, but they saved way more than they lost. Sylvie is right, they are here and fighting the good fight, now to figure out why someone would want to stop them, or more likely monetize their abilities. Sometimes the world is just evil, but these guys are starting to realize that they can't save everyone, but doing the best they can do will be enough.
  6. Marie-Louise worked fast, and Nelson got more than lucky. Is there any chance that Ed didn't do it? Or could he have just completely disassociated himself from the crime, doesn't necessarily show insanity but still.
  7. Thanks for keeping these wonderful stories in front of us all, they all deserve another reading or two.
  8. OMG, not sure who the bigger fool will prove to be.

    Prologue

Well, this could go in so many directions, can't wait to see what you all decide.
  10. So, we get our first real exposure to Quen. Actually, not what I was expecting, but a little more friendly than I was hoping for. Quen seems to have more than his share of hostility toward his father; I am sure there is a story in that as well. Dust and he seem to get along better than I thought. Can't wait for more.
  11. Well, truly adored this chapter. Rory plucked up the courage to be himself, mother was indifferent, but father was livid and out of the house he was thrown. Audra and Jock sound like the grandparents that we all wish we had. Matthew and Gavin were there for Rory and in the end that is what counts. Can't wait to see what happens next.
  12. Totally understand, off recovering from shoulder surgery and my days all just run together. As always, thanks for the update.
  13. This other group, Virex, or whomever they morphed into is pure evil. Killing innocents just to test our group shows their desperation. I think the fact that Sylvia found the old baselines will end up being an important key to taking them down.

    Big Problems

Well, so did not see that coming. Of course, did Big really kill the guy or was he simply unconscious and Curtis and the others killed him to have something to hold over Big's head? How closely would Big have checked while freaking out about all of this. Fellows is an idiot, even if it is just the Serbian mob, you don't just try and blackmail them to get your freedom. You will find yourself wearing concrete shoes going for a short walk off a boat in the Pacific. Is Fellows this stupid, or was he playing Big? So many unanswered questions, but we are finally getting to the meat of what is going on and who is behind the attacks on Travis. Curtis was truly evil, but the lawyers, well really almost all lawyers are truly amoral.
  15. Well, we do not know the extent of the bullying before the fatal encounter between Ed and Claude. But I would guess it had been ongoing and was probably escalating the older they got. George has had such a sad life, hate that the closest friend he has made, chose this route to end the bullying. Sad....
  16. Love when Vince and Dawn get together for tea and cakes. They always have the most interesting conversations. Loved the Star Trek reference, but have to say, didn't see Vince as a Trekkie. Graham and Matt are so comfortable with each other in most situations. Not that they don't have that awkward silence from time to time, but they are moving forward evermore. Love that everyone seems to try and do something to help Graham find his footing with this writing. Takes a village to keep a writer going. Let's hope the show does well at the gallery, and maybe gives both he and the artist a leg up.

    Chapter 10

Ser Graeme has offered Sam a way out of the village, something he has dreamed of for years. The reason for the offer and why he can now leave with a clear conscience is a tragedy that will continue to haunt his mind for a while to come. Is Sam's decision the right one? Only time will tell, but nothing will ever be the same for him.
  18. Can't wait to see what comes up with this.

    Matthew

Honestly, I almost expected Matthew and Valentine to come to blows. I don't think that Valentine wants Alice back, I think he wants more than a life in the country and staying with Alice would have made that impossible. Matthew wants Alice, but honestly, doesn't seem to have anything to offer her. I despise Tobias.
  20. Hell, sorry but even with the bullying Ed went a little too far, unless there was something much more extensive in the past. Throwing the gloves in the wood wasn't smart, unless he was way off from the killing. The police will do a thorough search of the area. All hell will break lose at school, and while George will as usual want to protect his friends, not sure this is something he can protect Ed from. Marie-Louise will be very popular, at least for a while.
  21. Ah, so Matthew isn't really sure about his dad and Jason, but he definitely suspects. They should all be honest, I mean I can see him not bringing it up, but hopefully Gavin or Jason will soon. Matthew and Rory had a great conversation and were open and honest with each other. Hope they continue to be there for each other come what may. A thoroughly delightful chapter from start to finish.
  22. Way to close to losing Sylvie. I keep wondering if there isn't something in what she has of her father's that they have not found yet, or don't realize the importance of it yet. This team can be lethal, but they try not to do so, good for them. That said, those that are coming after them, will continue to up the ante.
  23. As always, thanks for the deep dive...
  24. Remy and Marc learned some about each other in different ways. I think they might really be good for each other, if only they could be fully honest and open with each other, not sure that will ever truly happen. So, Remy and Anduin got an extra swab? Ugh, leave it to Claire and Anduin to be total asses, made Pierre feel worse than he already did.

    Chapter 9

Ser Graeme's offer is true. That said, Sam does not need to accept it. In fact, he probably should do nothing for the next several days but figure out how he feels about the events of the last couple of days. Powerful.
