Halfway through to I wonder where....? Brohm is amazingly warm and Nathan is getting the hots?? First soldiers, then more, then wolves; I wonder what they have to face next?

That was a nasty fight that could have turned out much differently. Nathan is resourceful and Brohm is strong. They were both lucky this night.

Even though JJ is getting his life and priorities cleaned up, he it still not one of my favorite characters....and we still have to get through the family dropping in on them. Will is a bit of a self-assured prick, especially without Travis. I really am interested in seeing them in school.

Gatling was spurned and a drama queen to the end. Poor Calvert and George, they have so much history with others to process...

Well another skirmish that ended with them able to move on. I hope they searched the fallen troops for money, water and food.... My biggest complaint is the short chapters.

Their luck holds and they have a destination, but I expect more than a few bumps along the road.

Well they have lucked out for now, but clearly the farm is not a safe haven. Perhaps now Nathan will put on his thinking cap!

I agree the farm is not a permanent hideout, but may afford them some time to come up with a plan. At least I hope so!

The one problem they face, is that if they become too well known, the scrutiny will get intense and they will have to be even more discreet in using their powers.... Poor Woorawa, as the face of the protest, the press could well become unbearable.

Nathan is disregarding his prior rule about letting no one get close to him...and that may be to his peril. Brohm is obviously more than he appears. And I wonder about his fear of the cave. I'm on to the next chapter hoping for some answers.

Poor Tarn, he gets no respect from the guards and Nathan uses his gullibility to take advantage. I wonder if he shows up again in the tale? Nathan had a lot of luck and acted decisively when the opportunities arose. Getting out of the keep without being detected was fortuitous. Knowing there are no close by villages means there aren't many people in the area so he can't blend into a crowd or have to worry the crowd is looking for him. As the king has tracked him down, I don't suspect he will give up now that Nathan has escaped. On to the next chapter.

With a hanging in his future, that future looks bleak. However, the poison was only to disable him so he could be "properly" hanged for his egregious offense. No clue as to who Helmsley's son was and why Nathan had no clue. Obviously the master of the keep is up to something that makes him so paranoid and has so many guards. Looking forward to the next instanllment.

If a king is paranoid enought to hire an assasin to eliminate the threat of blackmail about secret info, who does he hire to clean up loose ends? Hopefully Nathan is very careful...

Hopefully, Nathan is a pro or this story may be short. However, after 10 hours on horseback I suspect he was just a little tired. The ill winds, seems to suggest some magic is in the air. As I picked this up after it was well along, I'm off to the next chapter!

Will is a master manipulator, but he deferred to the grand master manipulator to get the guys to go back with them. That just shows a good scheemer uses the assests available. Ian was wary but ultimately swayed by Will and let his defenses down and they both had an enjoyable time. Will reassured Ian he would not out him and prevented him from abruptly leaving and killing the afterglow. JJ will panic when the family descends but perhapt with the help of his boyfriend, he can impress. And that is JJ's biggest desire, to impress his family.

"We’re talking too much. Quick. There’s food waiting." What a great exit line for a group of young men, eager for breakfast! I guess I was wrong, Cory seems to be adjusting to the realms faster than I expected. Looking forward to the next installment!

Carpe diem! I hope George's plans for Calvert work out, because Francis seems terrified of marriage. Winkler is a treasure. I hope your cruise was as successful!

Best lines of the story so far. Of course Stef's line about the other guy visiting him was completely in character and a close second. Will also admitted that being separated from Travis while at Harvard would be a living hell. Loved the chapter; still waiting for school to start.

Corey has seen some incredible things since he was recruited into the group, but his trip to the Realms will blow his mind. I remember our groups reactions with their first encounters...

George and Calvert have a week's respite but then Calvert is surely to be delivered to the royal princess unless the queen further intervenes.... George is an accomplished lover of the female of the species as he previously more than satisfied his now estranged wife. So I expect he will have no problems finding a suitable beard. Calvert, however is expected to marry, and that could get complicated....

Travis and Will have laid the ground rules for their bi-coastal relationship and were surprised that the Buck holdings were going to be able to fund the $100 million for Big and his sister. JJ went to his shrink and found some clarity about his feelings and trust issues. Hopefully, he and Kris don't flame out. More please! (I still can't wait for school to start.)
