Some serious shit at the beginning of the chapter for TJ to deal with, but it seems he is dealing with it. I suspect mom is moving to the NYC area soon....
So are NASA, AWOL, SNAFU, HIV, SWAT, TGIF, GIF, NATO, and that's just off the top of my head. There are probably dozens more we use without thinking about it.
A lot happens and is explained in this chapter, but a lot remains up in the air, as we don't yet know how TJ is going to sort this all out and what more will come out publicly???
Well now, Mason knows he has a problem because he really does have feelings for Rhys...no matter the public denials.
Toby has a problem and it's called jealousy and I suspect it's not a new one either.
Levine is still a big unknown...but most likely a scoundrel.
Billy has the aw shucks persona but is good with technical stuff and there may be more to his story than we've seen so far.
Rhys, is an artist with all those sensibilities, including needing constant reassurance. He is already getting clingy and I suspect it gets worse before it gets comfortable.
A trip to take a look at the place is definitely in order...I think TJ is focused on seeing himself as damaged goods with emotional/mental problems he has to work through and he is not sure he can do that without some distance.
An appropriate entry for the first weekend of the return of Major League Baseball. Thanks!
P.S. My Cardinals won their opening day game yesterday against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Ant or Ants as a nickname for Anthony is not uncommon. The kid next door didn't like Tony as a nickname and is called Ant by his family and friends, otherwise it's Anthony...Of course that kid is like 25 now and making a career in the Army.
So two weeks on a boat to CA with boys in Sarongs or less and not a word on how they slept or who with? Either Akela's plot has already taken place or he is distracted by the new boy(s)!
Well it seems the cops are more interested in the kidnapping than what happened to TJ. When they hear what happened to him and who did it, they may suspect even more that he or his family are responsible....
As I have no recollection of the other story, I am enjoying reading this as a complete outsider trying to catch the glimpses of the back story as this one plays out. Well done!
