Emily seems to think TJ is still the same guy that escaped his family some five years earlier. Obviously, he became a man over the intervening years. It seems she thinks she still knows best and that it was his fault that certain things happened. People that blame others and fail to take responsibilities for their screw-ups seem to be fashionable. I hope TJ gets through to her just how screwed up that is. I still think he'd be better off divesting his interest in the security business.
Both Brayden and TJ's (now Jack) mom have a lot of fault and I suspect when he gets a private minute with his mom he will let her know just how disappointed he has been. I truthfully think he would be better off selling or giving his interest in the company away! I mean, who needs that kind of drama and danger?
Wrong! My current dog is a 14 year old beagle. Over the years I've had 8 dogs. All were cute, loved to cuddle and kiss. The phrase puppy love has been overused for decades, but has a modicum of truth and it is that connotation of it being a phase is why I hope they move on and get serious.
I don't see how anyone in the hospitality business in this day and age thinks it's ok to be a bigot. I suspect that he will never ask his last employer for references.
Not sure I think "puppy" is good term of endearment for the long haul, but glad they thought it was funny.
The nautical references are cute but hopefully also a phase, love should be playful, but it is also serious and I hope these guys are as serious as they profess.
Do you resonate better with one character over the other, Chris versus Billy? Why or why not?
Great question. Chris started off as Billy's life raft, but both were dependant on George providing the lifeboat. Chris's character is more mine; Billy's what I would have liked mine to be!
I really appreciated this question and smiled at the author's answer as it confirmed what I had already gathered from his writing. The whole interview was well done and I appreciate both Cia and Ivor for taking the time to do it.
Some serious shit at the beginning of the chapter for TJ to deal with, but it seems he is dealing with it. I suspect mom is moving to the NYC area soon....
So are NASA, AWOL, SNAFU, HIV, SWAT, TGIF, GIF, NATO, and that's just off the top of my head. There are probably dozens more we use without thinking about it.
A lot happens and is explained in this chapter, but a lot remains up in the air, as we don't yet know how TJ is going to sort this all out and what more will come out publicly???
Well now, Mason knows he has a problem because he really does have feelings for Rhys...no matter the public denials.
Toby has a problem and it's called jealousy and I suspect it's not a new one either.
Levine is still a big unknown...but most likely a scoundrel.
Billy has the aw shucks persona but is good with technical stuff and there may be more to his story than we've seen so far.
Rhys, is an artist with all those sensibilities, including needing constant reassurance. He is already getting clingy and I suspect it gets worse before it gets comfortable.
