" It's not just me, right? " From the comments it appears you are in good company. I use the Alexa app to remind me all the time. It's great because you can specify what you need to be reminded of as in; "Alexa set a reminder for 9 pm to run the dishwasher." I use the calendar feature on my phone a lot more too.

I'm late to the party, but agree with most of the comments. Friends that help you move are definitely keepers.

" He sighed, a sign that he was about to reluctantly spill his guts. “I watched that movie,” he said, referring to Brokeback Mountain, “and I watched what those guys had to go through, and even then they couldn’t be together. Only they had to be in the closet, while I chose to do that, and because of that I am seriously going to fuck up your life for as long as you’re with me.” “I know that’s the price to pay to be with you, and I’m willing to do it,” I said firmly." Yeah but is Travis? Will is able to compartmentalize his life and Travis has to do so about being straight for his image....Being jealous of Austin is not just Travis' problem, but Will only sees it as a problem for Travis and that is his blind spot... As usual, thanks for another chapter which started so well and ended with angst. Still, MORE PLEASE!

I'm a fan!

For us sci-fi fans the term escape velocity for exiting a gravity well like a planet has significance....

It was a beautiful sunny day with high temp of 74F but windy. I barbecued pork steaks and we had potato salad with watermelon. Tonight's low will be 56F so it was a day with no AC or furnace required which is always a win in my book!

"They did actually use the Thai Kok"... That line almost made me spit my morning coffee! I agree this was a low turmoil chapter with the only twinge from Justin when he assumed he got the transfer because of influence instead of merit. The bar proposition was professionally handled and ended with some hugs from Rick who is a bit more out there! I also noted the server at the door...

All the little things that go wrong add up in maintaining a relationship, and for Will and Travis, the breaking point could be nearer than expected... More Please!

What a great time to use one of my favorite words, "perspicacious"! Alex and Maude sounds like a title for a Brit sit-com. Edwin is stuffy but could be interesting in the right setting. More please!

Drifting with the current on a river float trip is fine...a snow drift is a whole different story when it comes time to shoveling.

Light mode for me! I've tried dark mode, but I'm drawn to the light!

Thanks for sharing!

I'm guessing bunji-bunji could be translated to means a mate's mate or gay...

Navigating the internet from the days of a dial-up connection using my pre-windows 95 PC, to 2026 has been an experience. It seems I've forgotten so much as everything is so intuitive now.

Me too!

My late wife had a whole different meaning for the word charge, usually followed by it....

The plot thickens...slowly.

Happy Friday! Will's problem with the paparazzi is solved, at least on campus. I suspect Austin and Troy are toast. Whether Austin and Will get their mojo back on the court is to be determined... Still think Travis will be jealous as fuck about Austen. The new movie part could be another vehicle for more personal drama. Hopefully the plan to make Will boring works well enough to get the fashion mafia off his case. As always, more please!

Miss you buddy! RIP!

The stakes are even higher than first imagined. Poor George, the task is daunting and complicated by a pair that would see him fail and embarrassed. Thankfully, George is competent and has Palomar. Knowing George, the first major task will be to clean up and refit the ship to his standards which I suspect exceed anything his Spanish crew could expect... Thanks for this chapter and, as always, more please!

Thanks for your usual 4/20 gift! That Finn is a dick isn't news, but that he went public against Will has certainly cemented he being ostracized by the GLBT gang. The news about Travis was also interesting and makes me wonder if this is where things begin to go wrong.... The plan Stefan and Brad put together with the help of Bellona Carter sounds reasonable, but it too could have some unforeseen consequences... More Please!

Thanks for sharing your story. The cast of characters was varied and interesting with their interactions showing humor and growth. Well done!

$3.79 a gallon in suburban St. Louis.

Natasha isn't as bad as I feared, but still a piece of work. Martin kept her distracted while Noah helped his brother load the car. The revelation about support and allowance was also hopefully heard by Noah and if so, should become another discussion. Martin revealed the actual relationship to his son concerning their soon to be new neighbors and of his relatives in England. Benjamin's move is complete and Justin overheard Martin on the phone with Nathan as he came in from work...and is putting the dots together. Eagerly anticipating the next chapter!

That's the best cover of The Sounds of Silence that I've heard or seen in more than 50 years!
