I'd have to agree with Myr that Dalen Ashkevron was immensely interesting and the fantasy world that dkstories created was amazing. But for a more historical fictional figure, I would pick George Granger in Mark Arbour's Bridgemont series. For a contemporary figure I would love to meet Carlos Hazday's CJ and get his take on current events!

It was a fantastic night and it ended the right way, although some of the highlights getting there were pretty hot. -
I liked the flow and pacing of this chapter and the character development as well. Nice job. On a more detailed level, I liked how it built to a nice climax!

I thought of this sentence when I saw today's word. " You thought your shingles outbreak subsided, but instead experienced a recrudescence of the virus. I first heard it from my mother's physician when she was there for a recurrence of shingles and the doctor called it recrudescence and gave the above quote. As shingles is a cruelly debilitating disease, I thought the word was perfect. -
I loved this chapter but fear Granger will feel obligated to Daventry to go to see the Tsar....

Interesting about Brad's ongoing feelings about his grandparents despite Paddy's best efforts. I also found it interesting that the football players were interested in people who don't live in a gay bubble.

I also have a 1971 Sony TC-730 Reel-to-Reel Stereo Tape recorder with auto-reversing three motors and six heads which still works as well, although not as well in reverse as it used to....

....Ummmm I still do. It plays fine to. I also have a Sony Discman....from the mid-eighties. It works too. I think that Jett and Tom are too much alike. Sorta like my daughter and granddaughter. They can get a rise out of each other with just a look. However, I have no idea what redeeming values Sid sees in Tom or why they spent nearly all night talking. And apparently neither does April or Jett. Missed any description of any interaction with baby Jay....

Brad's self-image acceptance to the point of appearing in an underwear add says a lot about his emotional and physical progress since the explosion. Good job. The idea of perhaps an even longer distance romance is less thrilling. Those things take a lot of commitment and work...which is why so many fail.

I agree that Mr. Reilly's behaviour was uncalled for and probably counter-productive. I hope he gets laid soon and mellows out and figures out that screaming and yelling can't be his only modus operandi...
