Let's just say I am eagerly awaiting the fireworks to follow!

Our hospitals and doctors are great at dealing with physical wounds. The invisible wounds to the psyche are much harder to diagnose, treat, or cure and can be intractable. While most people have heard of PTSD, most people don't know that there can be a delayed onset, sometimes months or years after the initial traumatic episode.

Sometimes dreams do come true and thrown-away kids survive and flourish!

Carina, Jett and Theo/April all with an interest in Jay who is enjoying being the center of attention. I think things could be easier to sort out than the protagonists think. That's my guess and I'm sticking to it.

I am really enjoying this soap opera and I wonder how long it will take Carina to figure out that April really is Theo....

The camaraderie of the group has always been a hallmark of the series and this chapter displays that beautifully. Loved it!

April is learning how to handle Jett and deflects well. But he still thinks Jett is better at the game. April is still worried about Sabrina's dad and instead of telling Jett, is trying to figure it out himself.

That was hot!

Billy didn't run away, but instead trusted George and went to him for advice. Billy really has matured over the past half year!

Self medication with alcohol, illegal drugs, legal drugs and prescription drugs is a common problem especially for veterans dealing with PTSD and war injuries even for people in treatment.... And the sad truth is that many clinicians are pill pushers to mask or manage symptoms because they have too many patients.

Loved it!

If you can deal with the plethora of short chapters, you will find a very intense story that leaves you waiting for what happens next. As the story seems to be about over, I can report you will not be disappointed if you stick with it.

If you caught part of this story here or on another site and wonder whether to pick it up again, I can only relate my experience and say I'm really glad I did.
