The camping trip was fun and the beach scene was remarkably written. Others have mentioned E's internal dialogue including the baby shark ear worm as being exceptionally humorous and I can only concur. Passion is usually portrayed as hot, sweaty, fast and explosive. This was slow, sensual, titillating and edgy with more than a bit of fun until it became a runaway train...Yeah, I liked it a lot. The two acting like the property brothers or an HGTV knock off for more than a month seems a little strange. I'd think they'd be obsessing about the laptop and going back over everything and exploring every possibility. It did almost get E killed after all.... Still, I suspect drama to occur in the next chapter with a really surprising cliff hanger at the end of it.

I find myself viewing and reading onsite with my tablet much more often with my tablet vs my desktop over the past five years.

Rusty is quite a character and Jonathan is making a good friend and ally. Maddox's parents in a backhanded way admitted they could be wrong and his dad wants to meet Jonathan. This trip home has certainly been a maturing experience that Maddox has handled well. X press's blurb as a cliffhanger sucks almost as much as the rag itself IMHO.

Camping has been a great idea...so far! But my spidey sense tells me they shouldn't get too complacent.

I enjoyed watching Will be all grown up and thoughtful, and then enjoyed him enjoying Tony... Brad is trying. In both senses of the word. Jake is interesting and he may be onto something about learning about morale at the foundation. More please! Oh and I see another episode of Granger is up too!

Considering everything parents do for their kids, I still say give them a break and let them process the totally surprising news. LIfe is not black or white, there is a lot of gray and I have the hair to prove it!

Kage passed the mama test and got her seal of approval. I suspect that will go a long ways to resolve Tyler's misgivings too! The hot spicy meatloaf would kill me. But I'd have loved the cannoli! I suspect the camping trip will be another turning point in their relationship. But I must wait a week until our author stirs the pot (plot) again.

I can totally see Maddox's parents reacting like that given his history. The true measure of them will be the next day. I'm hoping they have adjusted their thinking and realized he is their son and trust him. But damn! I gotta wait a week!

I read this story as it was first posted. It is a strange story with strange and exotic characters. The writing is first rate.

E told K he realized he wasn't looking for a lifetime commitment, that he was too young. I wonder if he fully convinced K or himself of that? E's first time was amazing! Certainly not the usual fumble along to success that most first timers experience. Indeed, K's reaction was revealing as well. This was not just another score. The writing is remarkable. Ok, now I have to wait another week to see how all this plays out....And the suspense is getting to me!
