So April has a history with Jet and Jet is gonna figure it out eventually. The baby is another mystery seriously in need of solving. On to chapter 2! -
The doctor adroitly helped JJ realize a couple of things about himself and his family. She expertly pushed his buttons and used just the right amount of sass and wit to make him appreciate it. I think she will be worth twice as much as the pill pusher.

The chapter is a building chapter and as revised, is very well done and an easy read. What's not easy is the emotions and problems the characters are dealing with and will have to continue to do so. Well done!

@WolfM I think most authors continue to do research while filling in the details of a story, no matter how much they do upfront. I enjoyed all the replies. Thanks to Carlos and all who participated.

We learned so much and yet we don't know how this will play out. Ranevargar anticipates the best, but Maynor maintains a hold over Kieran and so it would seem in some ways the high king as well. Further I suspect that Pethron could be a problem, unless Pethron is really Rhys.......

My impression is that this enhanced version is a much better read and that's saying something because I loved it the first time I read this on that other site. Twice a week posting also sound wonderful!

Not how i pictured Will and Zack's encounter, but we'll see how it eventually works out. JJ is another person with a problem which hopefully he can gain some insight into from a therapist and not just a pill pusher.... More please.

Probably more truth than speculative fiction, albeit presented in a funnily uncouth way! Although I find it hard to believe any sentient race would be unaware of security against hacking....The old "knowledge is power" bit.

Keryth may know more than his father thinks, however Ranevargar certainly knows more and I think there are still surprises to be revealed.....

There may be a big difference between users and abusers but it can become a fine line that is easy to cross. I wish Chipper well, but he may be a bit too trusting with people he doesn't really know.

Well the two partners, removed from their former roles, sure didn't waste any time in revealing their true feelings for each other! I'm also ready for the next chapter!
