In view of the sudden stroke at the end of this chapter, I now regret my prescient comment at the end of the last chapter!

While Wade seemed to have figured at least part of it out, his surprise that Alex's mother was having an affair with his father seemed real.... Alex and his father(?) have a frosty relationship, that suddenly turned cold stone dead. If Alex's dad didn't arrange for the attack on Goodall, was that E. D. also? Still more than a few loose ends to wrap up. More please!

October 29th and into the early hours of October 30th and floating bombs are exploding into fire and a brig is also set to be fired by a fuse or slow match. Hopefully, the next chapter comes along quickly!

Max has experienced a teachable moment. And hopefully he learns from it before he gets both physically and emotionally hurt. Meeting strangers through an app is inherently dangerous. Doing it as an underaged 16 year old who looks even younger is dangling bait to trolls.

Some people age better than others. Those that try too hard to avoid the effects of aging usually come off looking a bit contrived. Will's advice to relax and be himself was the best advice of all. I'm still looking for a Granger fix....

Davies Walker has a boss with a good heart. Alberto is a gem. Preston Wright seems like a stand-up guy too. Mrs Walker seems firmly under the thumb of her barrister husband. It looks like it's a bit uncomfortable too. On to chapter two!

Glad to see more of Will. As this chapter reminds us, he is still only a senior in high school and has a lot of time before he can really settle into a lasting relationship. I seem to recall a lively discussion some time ago as to where he would go and I don't think that has been revealed yet? I hope some of your readers go to youtube and listen to some of the songs referenced in this chapter. JJ and Will is a dynamic that will continue to evolve with much brotherly one-upmanship.

The bunny has a bruised ego because he found out he got the promotion in part because of Heathcliff....which he deserved because of the account Heathcliff has endorsed. Oh well, perhaps Aiden will calm and start to view it all rationally. His ideas about Stone starting his own company wasn't a bad one and guess who could be in charge of advertising? -
I'm not swapping or giving up any time chasing the grandson! I'm enjoying it too much and glad I can do it!

I've been trying for years to write sequels to a couple of my stories and been totally dissatisfied with every effort and have about given up....and now I don't have the time. I appreciate what Comsie and Krista have to say and I understand completely! P.S. We have dog days of summer in the Midwest too, with hot, humid weather!
