    I am very pleased to make his acquaintance. He sounds like a nice man with nothing to regret in his life. I hope that I will be like him hen I am 100... although I'm not sure I would want to live that long. I don't want to have to watch friends and loved ones die around me. What will be will be.

    Oh yes, so far the story is more than living up to its promise. The meeting of god and man has rarely gone well and there is a tension that carries through the story from the moment Somhlth became involved. Destiny... now there's a word. Yes, definitely interested.

    Very, very interesting. I like the accented parts. You're right it does add authenticity. It would jarr if it wasn't there but you face the same challenge as I did in Death is Not an Option - how far do you go down the path of authenticity before it becomes incomprehensible to those who are not familiar with the timbre of the language. I think you have a perfect balance but be prepared for those who are not prepared to work at a story. I am desperately interested in seeing where this story goes. The woman from the water is well itriguing. I'm wondering in which direction this goes... myth or mundane... or both

    top of the list has to be someone who will accept me exactly as i am. I don't want anyone to try to change me. If I find someone like that then tolerant, crazy, humourous, daring and dangerous kind of comes with the territory. I need someone who likes to touch and be touched, who doesn't mind being kinky but who puts loving tenderness first. I want someone who's strong and brave and funny and wise and joyful Maybe I should have stopped after the first line. That would have been enough to remind me thatI want someone who doesn't exist.

    I've actually already worked that into the story. River recognises it due to his training but it's one thing recognising the theory and another dealing with the fact. I've had experience of institutionalisation in my job and also I've dealt with a lot of women who have been in abusive relationships and I have always been fascinated why. It's one of the themes I examine in this story. It's about the fact that Silver has been physically freed but has to mentally and emotionally free himself because as much as he wants to River can't do it for him.

    I don't know... Silver has been taught techniques for only giving pleasure... the Karma Sutra is more about sharing. He might expect River to start doing exercises too Glad you are still enjoying it.

    Hugs, It doesn't stop you looking for another job hun. Who cares if you get a pay off from this job if you're moving to a better one. You've such a lovely personality and clearly know your stuff so I'm thinking you would find something better if you try. What do you have to lose.

    For the last few days Silver seems to have gone back to his old self. In fact he has been surprisingly cheerful. For a couple of hours every day he locks himself in the studio and he doesn’t seem to be doing any painting in there. He always comes out glowing.     That's just beautiful. Jason clearly thought things through and Pete realised that too. Things are going well. How many chapters do you have left ... just so I can work out the chances of anything eles of a dramatic nature happening

    That was a nice 'breather' chapter in that, although it moves the story along and introduces some clouds on the horizon it gave us some leeway to take a breath and pause for a moment to gather ourselves after all the action. One of the things I like most about the story is the way that you vary the pace. Nice chapter
