Absolutely the fact that I can be myself absolutely. I can be my usual wierd and wonderful self and as inappropriate as I like and if i get my wrists slapped for i now and again... sometimes HARD... that's ok because I get forgiven Second to the freedom is the fact that I get to write my stories and people actually read them... not only that but some of you even like them. I had never thought that I would be able to express my true twisted self in my writing and actually get anyone to read them without running screaming for the hills Thirdly there is the chance to read what others have written... to learn from those who are more experienced and skillful than I am and to help support and encourage those who are starting out. And overall there is the warmth and friendship, the banter, the support, the tears and tantrums, the excitement, the mental stretching and the chance to meet and get to know so many wonderful people I would otherwise never have had the chance to know. I'm hooked and here to stay

I was neutral on the Blair Witch Project. The idea was excellent but I found the style frustrating and distracting. I love films with a good strong story and so I have to say I enjoyed it for that but it wasn't particulary easy to watch. This one looks good and I will certainly see it if I have the chance.

I have been force fed the tv programme, the wii game and anything else Ef can get his grubby little hands on ad nauseam. And.... ok I admit I kind of like it. And yes, I would take Ef to see the film... but from what I've seen not sure it is going to be true to the tv programme. ... It all hangs on Zuko... one of the main reasons I enjoy watching it is becuase he is sooooo hot hot hot... and YES, I KNOW it's a cartoon SO WHAT.

For me Halloween isn't about trick or treat or candy. It's about the festival of Samhuinn, my favourite festival of all. It's about the time between times when the veil between the worlds is thin and the dead walk among the living. My favourite Halloween constume was the simple robe I wore when I was initiated into the Dridic mysteries on 31 October 1987 (OMG was it REALLY that long ago). That night will stay with me for the rest of my life. I partook in a ritual which was at the same time terrifying and more uplifting and inspiring than any I had done before. I travelled more than 200 miles to place myself entirely and intimately in the hands of complete strangers and I experienced nothing but kindness, wisdom and support. It was when I was most truly the fool and jumped off the cliff. I have never looked back
