Good luck with everything. Everyone goes through periods of feeling worthless and pointless and hopeless... even me and I'm fab I am sure you will get into college, the problem is that if you don't apply... you can't. Life is short and to not do something because you think you might fail is just not part of the package if you want to make it through. Get out there, do it and report back on all the offers you get... which will be many. -

I hope you will be feeling better soon hun. Sounds like you have a heavy schedule and if you're not feeling well it can get to you. Not achieving anything is actually a symptom of being run down. Perhaps a week away from everything will be just the medicine you need. I hope so

It's fabulous that someone is feeling that good. Why is it that people tend to be compelled to write journals and blogs when they are not feeling at their best but not when they are delightfully happy? Maybe it's because you're out having too good a time to even think about it... maybe there is also something about misery liking company and we like to read about people who are not doing to well rather than those who are as it makes us feel somehow better about our own situation. Homosexuality was illegal in the UK until 1967 so much of the time he was writing the notes etc for the book it was under the cloud of the law. He would not therefore have made any gay characters explicit. There was a lot of talk about homosexuality in the trenches during the first world war and more so in the second. It very well may be that 'the close bond between men in war' was an euphamism

An idea might to be to read the anthologies. You will get a flavour of the styles of various writers and you can then check out their other work. With the anothologies the stories are short and it won't take so long to go through them.

As an aside... NEVER put breastmilk in tea or coffee... UGH. If any of you gorgous guys and gals want to partake in an experiment to find out if prologued nipple sucking produces milk in men... just give me a call... all in the name of scientific research of course and I would be happy to report back. Of course to make it really scientific I would have to have a broad sample.
