  4. Get someone to bring you in an amethyst crystal, the bigger the better, if there is risk of blood poisoning then red jasper and haematite to clean the blood of infection. Eat garlic, drink blueberry juice and lemon and above all keep positive. We are all thinking of you.
  5. Heheh. That story really got my goat Had to say it before someone else did.
  6. They do that with the tax on each packet of cigarettes... which is why they won't ban it
  7. This is an interesting topic but could fall foul of semantics. Conflict, argument, debate, dissention etc etc. I think you need first to carefully define your understanding of argument, because I would suggest that your definition for Physical Argument is not argument but conflict. For me Argument is when to people, sides, entities put forward differing views and continue to support, develop and advance them during the course of discussions which do not necessarily have to take place at one time, in one place or even with all protagonists present. For example academic argument. The physical coming together of bodies whether in conflict or othewise does not, I suggest constitute argument as there is no expression, development or support of views. If there are words spoken before during or after the conflict, that is the argument. Again emotional argument tends not to be true argument as shouting rude words at each other is not advancing any point of view but merely expressing emotion. As far as I am concerned I don't think that we are regressing in this respect. People have always shouted rude words at each other and the art of true argument is beyond a lot of people but then it always has been.

  13. I doubt that gay animals need gay pride.. to them it's nothing to be proud of... or ashamed of... or even to be aware of... it just is.
  14. Hehe. I agree wholeheartedly about the tv license and the CC. However I think you are being unfair to your keyboard. It is only trying to free you from the artificial constraints of societal condemnation of language. I love words... and I mean love them. My favourite word is 'bean' go on say it... it sounds so.. fun.. bean bean bean. Anyway I think that that the 'o' less count is a brilliant word... apart from it;s meaning it is strong, shocking and it just sounds good saying it... go on... go on...
  15. Come the revolution brothers.... Happy Bastille Day.
  16. I certainly hope that this works out. I have some really good friends who are HIV positive and it certainly is a worry. I hope that the research comes on apace and a cure is found before it is too late for them... purely selfish I know but they are great guys and something like this is kind of personal and therefore selfish.
  17. Hehe. My default state is semi organised chaos. I always try to be on time and am usually early because of it. I have a friend who drives me absolutely nuts. Her record so far is 2 1/2 hours late I'm working on her
  18. Done..... I read his ending and it is very good. I'll keep everything crossed for him.... well obviously not my eyes, that would be too difficult.
  19. Hehe... you just said that to show off didn't you. Haven't been drunk in ages ... maybe tonight...
  20. As long as it has Capt Jack in it I don't care. Is he redeemable? Of couse he is. He is a leader and sometimes leaders have to make tough decisions. The fact that he would sacrifice something so close to him for the greater good doesn't make him a demon... it makes him an angel. Of course I do have a kind of twisted interpretation of the terms... but hey
  21. *waves back* Wallflowers are beautiful... so bright and colourful. I am still new and a bit overwhelmed by all this myself but it is SOOO COOOl and the people are fab. Welcome
  22. Well....... I suppose th comment I would have to make is... WHY? I mean this would have made an excellent last ever episode but... Why? Still love Capt Jack thought... If only I could comfort him.. he'd soon forget he ever had a family... for a while at least
  23. Oh... right. Got it, I think. Thanks for the offer. I might just take you up on that.
