History is written by the victors, the winners, those in power, those at the top of society. Who tells the stories of those groups forgotten by history?

For centuries LGBTQ histories were hidden histories, histories forgotten by the mainstream, histories passed down by word-of-mouth. It has only been in recent decades that scholarly works have been written about gay history.

This collection of stories are about gay history, stories that focus on different events from gay history, events that helped shape our gay world, stories that cover so many different emotions.

Flash Fiction Piece --- pondering the afterlife

Nick has lost everything that ever mattered to him until Ryan unexpectedly breezes into his life. Swept away by Ryan’s love and unbridled zest for life, Nick is finally happy. This story chronicles a day in the life of two men, who met in college and fell in love. It is short story depicting their ordinary lives and ordinary struggles with many real world issues. It also highlights how despite there not being a happily ever after, it's what we end up with in the end that matters.
