Short pieces I wrote, whether bored or just got a cool idea. Primarily things I couldn't work out how to turn into a full story or lacked the time to do so and wanted to post anyway because I liked them.

Inspired to be a blend of Monster Collecting Anime and the Omegaverse's strange and eclectic rules and social structures, This is the world of Shire's Grove. To be gay in this world places you into one of two magical subspecies of human: Conductors and Orchestrals. Conductors are the head of their Pride of Orchestrals and have command over their magical singing voices, and the two types of gay people live in a symbiotic relationship with one another. Normally, these men are born among their own kind. However, for those like Kyle and Anselm, there are instances where they are born among the hetero world. They are in for some culture shock.

It’s never easy being the new kid at school, but there are secrets at Shepherd’s Crook and nothing is as it seems.

Young Jake has been guided towards his high school building along with many other survivors from all of the surrounding areas, as the country attempts to make it through a zombie outbreak. It is only by chance that a beautiful stranger gets holed up in the same building. Even in a world overrun by the dead, love can still make you feel so alive.

All while she watches, quietly, in the night, a survivor lives with the consequences of surviving. Drowning in guilt and shame, can he let another in?

How do you navigate jealousy in your relationship? It can emerge at the most unexpected times, over the most unexpected people. For David, it's not something for which he was ever prepared.
