But the glamor of the cars, boys, and clubs isn't there anymore, and he no longer feels the thrills he used to. When Luca steps in to his life and reminds him what passion feels like, he considers giving it all up to feel that fire again...even if he has to take on the city's biggest crime family to do it.

A series of flash fiction chapters which tell their own individual story, "James, Don't Falter" overall explores the innermost feelings of a young man and his struggle to hang on to the guy he loves for more than a few moments.

After years of self-deception, Dan had finally seen the proverbial light, thanks to some caring friends. Scott was a game-player, brazenly wreaking havoc with Dan's heart, and he had let him. Christmas be damned, it was time to reclaim his dignity, and accept that he deserved better... much better.
