A Selection of Robert Jentzsch Poems, Translated in English for the first time.

Plants and animals were my thing. The intricacies of nature intrigued me and yet there was an elegant simplicity that I loved.

6888 Ardra. Heavy gravity planet. Human-compatible atmosphere. Generally temperate climate; I’d aimed for the southern continent which had milder weather and a good mix of terrain.

“Damn Sonez anyway.” He’d tried to keep me on his ship instead of letting me explore the planet with a team after the probe returned. Well I’d stopped his plotting before he could ruin my life.

And I’d show everyone just what Essell Deray could do.

Two boys from totally different backgrounds. Two different and equally dramatic histories. Two testing struggles. A tempestuous love affair in a provincial German town. Narrow-minded middle-class attitudes, venomous and hypocritical Catholic morality, archaic, harsh foreign prejudices. Street Art rebellion and a society basking in a false sense of security, ignoring the largest future natural disaster and the threat of war.

The book opens with two introductions and continues through a tumultuous series of events to a not quite inevitable conclusion!

After a challenging week at work, a night out drinking at The Humpback sounded perfect to Banner Hoyt. The following morning, at the Coast Guard station’s barracks, Banner feels energized but fuzzy on the previous evening’s events. It takes some time to recall everything and even longer to realize that night had changed his life forever.

Verse written for my husband in the 90s

This is a story meant to show that love doesn't happen overnight (in Chapter 1) and although not all first loves last forever, they don't have to end with tragedy.

At sixteen, James has an almost perfect life. Then two boys enter his life and turn it upside down. Dion is a shy boy who James can't understand. Donovan is the star basketball player who James admires. Read how an incident with one boy will bring him closer to the other as masks are slowly removed.

A runaway orphan boy loses himself in a primeval American forest and, on the brink of death, is saved by the animals living there. As he recovers he finds that the animals have saved him for a reason, a reason that makes his life worth living. It seems like a fable that might have taken place in Africa, or India, a hundred years ago, but although this boy was not raised by apes or wolves, his story in contemporary America is even stranger. Be warned, however, that although this tale has many joyous moments, there is sorrow here as well, sorrow for the boy, and for the many who came to love him.
