A few days after spending Thanksgiving with Seth’s parents, Seth and Adam receive a call from Seth’s father informing them that Seth’s mother has passed away. They went to spend time with Seth’s father so they could console him and help to plan the funeral, but two days later Seth’s father passes away as well. This was a horrible start to the Christmas season, so what can they possibly do to make it better?

Two reserve flight officers on commerce patrol duty encounter an alien ship unlike anything they’ve seen before. There is only one thing to do, follow protocol and board the ship. Unfortunately, one of them encounters something from the distant past of human existence on Earth.

This is a fan-fiction based on Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern series. This is kind of an Alternate Universe, because this takes place shortly before the 4th Pass and there is no canon to base this on -- which is precisely why I chose it!

For sixteen year old Danny Anderson life is about to change. School is out and summer is here and hanging with his friends is all he wants to do, but there are some things he just can't share with his best friend, Nate. And then a handsome young stranger, not much older than he is, arrives in town and his world is turned upside down. The Sessions is a collection of transcripts containing the conversations and subsequent appointment notes between a Consulting psychiatrist and her new patient. As a transcript, the story is told entirely in dialogue and is set in a small, plainly decorated room. A teak coffee table separates Patient and Doctor. Although not seen, the Doctor will be taking notes throughout, and these can be read at the end of each visit.
While some of the details within the transcripts may not be entirely medically accurate, I have drawn on my extensive experience of being the “patient” in therapy.
