It's 1984. Sixteen year-old Brian Temple is getting his first car - a muscle car from the golden era of the sixties - a car as old as himself. Three new characters make their way in the wide world. A group of Shifts from Teshon City orchestrates a rebellion in a far-off country. Teshon City must face a rogue Demifae who desires to return city life to the days when Shifts were hunted in the streets. A powerful witch is consulted, and her sorcery increases the power of her fellow alchemist. The rebellion does not turn out the way the Shifts from Teshon City are expecting, and things back in Teshon City end up even worse.

Also, a little more about the unknown past is revealed in a prequel chapter, featuring two real-life horror celebrities who permitted their on-page deaths!

A young man inherits a house that has ties to the past

The Boot three years on. There have been some changes and improvements to The Boot, partly thanks to fund raising and charitable donations, and in part thanks to Christian Edwards benefactor to The Boot. Some 'guests' have moved on, some remaining homeless, but others having been helped are now in independent accommodation either working or looking for work. This is the continued story of The Boot, it's staff and 'guests.'

It is not necessary to read The Boot beforehand but it may help to understand some of what is happening now and in its future.
