A proud father of four, Headstall's personal journey has been a series of twists and turns, and his stories often reflect his experiences. He is an unapologetic romantic who writes from the heart. You will find this in his fiction and his poetry. They are both emotionally driven, and men who aren’t afraid of their feelings often populate his work. My work is driven by my characters gleefully taking on lives of their own and dragging me along with my notepad and pen at the ready. Even if, to paraphrase Stephen King, you take ordinary people and throw them into extraordinary circumstances to see how they respond, I prefer realism, stories that could be happening right now with your neighbors, your friends, your family, or even you. And since my characters don't always give me a happy ending, I can't always give you one. Which is about as real as it gets.

Sometimes the hardest thing, some of us can do is to express ourselves using words. Where do you start? Where do you end? And why does it even matter? It matters. My work is strung together from past experiences, mixed with a little fiction, and a lot of emotion. It is my way of over coming a life long inability to express myself with words, to finally be able to answer the question of "Hey what's wrong?" with something other than "nothing."

Ronyx is the creator and author of the gay teen story site, The Mustard Jar. His goal when he started a decade ago was to write stories that covered the real issues gay teens face. Ronyx hopes his stories speak to those needing advice or help dealing with a problem.

Valkyrie is new to fiction writing and finished her first serial in May 2014. Her work generally centers on flawed individuals who tend to go through some pretty tough times before reaching their happily ever after; if indeed, they do reach it. She is a big fan of animals, especially cats and horses, and they feature in quite a few of her stories. She is also a fan of sappy romance; although she tries to keep that to a minimum in her writing.
