Jubilee
Drama and raving rants,
he thought he'd seen it all,
so many lips and hands,
he never heard the call.
Countless blurry faces
becoming good time lovers,
too many empty spaces:
forever is for others.
And yet, one sunny day
extended to ten years:
he found the one who'd stay
for candles and jubilees.
