Fireworks & Rain - 1. Jubilee

Jubilee

Drama and raving rants,

he thought he'd seen it all,

so many lips and hands,

he never heard the call.

Countless blurry faces

becoming good time lovers,

too many empty spaces:

forever is for others.

And yet, one sunny day

extended to ten years:

he found the one who'd stay

for candles and jubilees.

Thank you for reading even though/ because of/ it's a poem or just to take a look.
Everything that sounds/is off is entirely my doing.
Any reaction is very much appreciated.

Fortune favors the brave and it sometimes takes a lot of courage, in the game of love, to pick yourself up and carry on. Sometimes we catch the carrot at the end of the stick, and this poem shows us that beautifully. Love is worth all the frogs for the sake of one prince. Beautiful message here, Adi. Cheers!

I totally prefer carrots over frogs.

Beautiful message here, Adi. I'm glad you think so, Gary.
