Just another great chapter in a long line of great chapters. I agree with KevinD about the skewers though. Time for Trevor to have a little......fun, yeah thats the ticket. I am beginning to get used to the new format at GA but miss some of the extras that used to be part of the story like some pictures that allow this feeble mind of mine to imagine. I know most writers dont do this but I would love to see a pic of what the author thinks his main characters look like, even if it is just a drawing. Anyway as always keep up the great work and send that next chapter as soon as possible.

I avoid the pics of the characters, because many times, I've read a story only to be blindsided by the author's selection of a pic for a character, which looks nothing like what I'd thought. I find that jarring, and I don't want to do that to my readers (who are prone to threatening to burn me alive at the best of times. )

As mentioned elsewhere I am enjoying this really well written story, its twists, dare I say it; clifhangers and Trev's development. I do hope that he gets laid soon - poor bugger really suffers in that area. Then of course, having got laid he can find "true love" - all while being pursued by people who want his head, John the Baptist-like, on a plate! should be easy! However, Mt James, your skills seem to be up to if, so I look forward to the story's resolution.....

(I, too, am not altogether happy with the new-format GA - I'd jusy got to grips with the ld GA when they changed it....)

Chapter 70 is another great addition to an amazing story! The Characterizations remain authentic and deepen, it seems, with each new chapter. The friendship seems authentic and the caring relationship seems to be what Trevor needs. The undercurrent of fear about 'coming out' appears to an authentic and realistic expression of what someone Trevor's age might fear. It almost seemed that the owner might be hinting at Shane having a similar story, but perhaps I am only projecting my hopes!

Thanks for the continued brilliant work and the gift you freely give your readers and fans!

After the hectic jumble of terrifying events starting with the transit of the Suez and the bombing, Trevor's time in Australia so far has been ho-hum. I guess the story needed the interlude, but I seriously wonder what is coming next from his arch-enemies? Further, what has his dad and dad's lover been up to along with their lawyer and PI? Much is held in abeyance and I am impatient!

I guess that is a sign of a good author, hooking your readers and having them pant for more....

So is Shane straight? Maybe. Maybe not. There's not enough evidence yet. That's what we need, more evidence about Shane's orientation! Yeah, yeah, I know, because it's the Southern Hemisphere his orientation is clockwise. But is he bent clockwise?

Shane did a great job helping Trevor relieve a substantial bit of his PTSD. But the suggestion for Trevor to use Shane's Medicare card? That's flat-out stupid and could land both of them in a world of hurt.

We haven't heard much from the reporters that were nosing around Carnarvon. It seems that's going to be a major factor at some point. Then there's Ned's wife's response to Trevor when he phoned. What is that all about?

Too many questions. Not enough answers.

Shane's orientation is almost always upside down; he is, after all, in Australia, where they do most everything upside down.

Ned's wife's response.. I can't say much, except that you have a good eye.

I'm in a Clive Cussler novel where the writing is entertaining and flawless. You certainly cut to the chase. As with all Prologues, I think you achieved what you set out to do, and that is give me a powerful kiss to a superb mystery. I'll get to read the rest of the work, but I'm wondering if this is not the ending to your story? Making the entire novel a flashback? I know it's integral to the story but that's not directly obvious at the moment. Why did I mention that, because in my view you succeeded in every aspect of writing a prologue. It left me with a promise, that someone will get to the bottom of this mystery.

So we get another 8 day rollercoaster waiting for Trevor and Shane to return and meet his family...

I didn't believe that Trevor's mother would end up being Shane's boss, but I never doubted she was alive still.

CJ never doubt I and several others of the faithful will continue to return week after week to get headbutted by a drunken goat....

Good read, although part of me was wanting more on the Trevor / Rachael reunion fallout, in reality, Joel is probably my favorite character and reading about him is always a pleasure. Also, reading about how the Florida side of things is starting to get wrapped up is also enjoyable.

I am really looking forward to and dreading the approach of the end of the story, how you handle the remaining threads will keep me guessing.

The Florida side is fast changing, and this much delayed move by Gonzalez to get Lisa and Joel out of their love shack should keep Trevor a bit safer -were it not for the tracker on Kookaburra. :-)

Joel is a favorite of mine as well.

Great chapter. I am on pins and needles for the next!!!!

Sure won't miss Bridget and friends but zounds will i miss this story. it has brought me to my puter tuesday nights for ever. Of course when it wasn't there disappointment but what the hey.

Having hove to in a full gale in mid Atlantic I have always been sure I would not want to be in a bigger storm. You have reenforced that thought. Despite years of sailing and life adventures you have always amazed me by your spot on discriptions of sailing events and locations. It was the noise that surprized me in my storm and you got that so right. Your navigation technigue in the Indian Ocean was brilliant and I am thinking I should try and sort it out not that I ever want to be in a position to use it.

Well I have tried to sort out where the eye hit in the Yucatan in hopes they can move with the eye into a harbor has the storm hits then abandon ship in harbor. But that is my only thought. Crazy right.

Again having grown up reading and to some extent living an adventureous life I am used to dramatic events and can understand that as a writer you would pause in the dramatic moments to let us get a bear or pee or whatever then come back in a week or month. yeah right. I am really gonna miss these kids. You grabbed me from the beginning due to the sailing aspects and not incidentally the hot gay kids part(yeah I am a dirty old man). I had to thank you C James one last time for such a thrilling adventure ride. This was my second read, I enjoyed it so much the first time I couldn't stop to comment (it was too damn compelling) but I promised myself that I would go back, because a story this well thought out and researched deserves reviews aplenty and all the likes GA will allow me . Thanks again to you and your team.

What an amazing adventure! What a great story! It is wonderful how you have managed to maintain the pace and energy throughout all 158 chapters. And I cannot imagine how many hours you must have spent in researching so many details, scientific, geographic, nautical and all the other aspects that make this such a compelling piece of writing. I have been a sailor all of my life, owning and chartering mostly monohulls but an occasional multihull, and at no time while reading "Circumnavigation" did I encounter a wrong note or false premise. Amazing!

Thank you so very much for writing this story! I thoroughly enjoyed it and am kicking myself for putting off reading it for so long, but I'm glad I did wait for a time when I was able to enjoy it properly. Thanks again!
