While not truly journal style, a story of friendship, coming out, and homophobia. Concise with a good message.

Everyone deserves friends who will stand up for them. This story recounts such an instance. It’s cogent and just as current as when it posted.

Short and concise short story tinged with sadness and resolve. The concept is clever but the writing leaves something to desire. Instead of a current journal entry, it reads like someone remembering a long ago event. I think using a simple past tense would have improved the immediacy of the story.

Simple , and heartfelt like you'd expect a journal entry to be. Speaks a lot about friendship. I enjoyed this story.

More of a narrative posting, and less a short story or even a Journal Entry. It's told from the 1st person PoV, in several paragraphs of narrative. Not really a Journal Entry, or even a short story. More of an Emotive Narrative posting.

Overall, was well written and had a good message.
