Whenever I'm chatting with someone at a party and I have literally nothing to say to them so I go into an existential crisis and re-examine my whole life all while asking myself, "In the entire time I've been on this earth, is it possible that nothing worthy of conversation has happened to me?"

 

Or the tragically high number of people whom I encounter on a daily basis who's voices linger on that exact, piercing frequency that I simply cannot block out when they begin rambling about something or other.

...when good people miss the signs and fail to support discouraged people.

 

...when assholes shoot the wounded.

 

...when kids get bullied.

 

...when people that can make a difference couldn't be bothered.

 

...when egos clash and unity is dashed and we bitch and carry on, when the enemy is outside and we fight amoungst our own.

I agree. That particular one above hit a deep nerve today, 'cause I had a pretty bad time last night & earlier today thinking I was guilty of that very thing...missing the signs. I'm relieved that I had those fears alleviated this evening, but thanks for the reminder that we should all be helping each other out by paying closer attention when others communicate, especially when it's those we care deeply for.

..... I always seem to be the last person out of the house on trash day and have to put the cans out myself.

 

..... No one else who lives in my house can be bothered to answer a ringing phone so I have to stop whatever I'm doing and the call is never for me.

...I think I've hurt someones feelings and feel bad for them, but know that I can't do the thing that would stop them being hurt

...I think I might have to tell someone bad news

...the only medication that's making my head feel better also makes me feel sick to my stomach

I hate it, when...

 

... the society I live in and my natural shyness make it nigh impossible to find a boyfriend, when I finally realize I want one.

 

... I lose touch with my schoolmates/friends for a few years, in that time realize I'm gay and when I finally hook up with them again "gay" has become a defamatory word in their vocabulary.

 

... I have to start working out to keep my waistline from expanding (Oddly enough wasn't necessary till I turned 20).

 

... my university forces a ton of useless, boring and damn hard stuff down my throat, so that after three years I may finally be allowed to learn what I want to learn.

 

... I have not passed those three years yet.

 

... it's 35+
