Look.

I’m a writer, not a calculator.

That’s why I tell jokes, not do math.

Why I write punchlines, not pie charts.

Why I statistically mislead for comedic effect, not accuracy.

Honestly, if numbers wanted to be accurate, they shouldn’t have let me near them.

We’re definitely different. Years ago, my brother called me a walking calculator.

Ah yes. You are correct.

You see, my superpower is not numbers.

My superpower is puzzle-based pattern recognition.

Picture it: kindergarten. Our desks were in groups of four, and we had jigsaw races.

Winner got eternal glory (a sticker).

I won.

Repeatedly.

Against every single student in the class.

Twice.

So the teacher, either desperate or looking to humble a five-year-old demigod, devised a new challenge:

The entire class vs. me.

Each with a 100-piece puzzle.

Naturally, I accepted.

Naturally, I obliterated them.

It got so bad the teacher joined their team halfway through, like Gandalf showing up to help the hobbits.

Spoiler: Frodo still dunked on them.

After the dust settled, she handed me a framed certificate titled “Puzzle Wizard,” with the solemnity of someone awarding a Nobel Prize to a tiny war criminal.

That was the year I peaked, by the way.

I nearly failed math in fourth grade. Long division took me an entire school year and possibly some of my lifespan.

So yes, Lee. You’re a walking calculator.

And I’m a statistical anomaly that cannot statist to save my stats.

Well, a couple of these designations I truly question, but still some outstanding stories in these groups.

Oh crap, I'm on this list too.

...And it has a number 2 spot for it's category.

WHY ARE PEOPLE READING THAT?  And does this mean I should probably update it!?

Definitely feeling the pressure lol.
