Weekly Wrap Up (Jul. 12 - Jul. 18)

We had an interesting discussion last week with the Weekly Wrap Up. I see the weather has broke in some places and yet others is getting worse 😮

Up here in Canada, it is so hot and dry we are burning up. Over 1000 wildfires going on right now  :( I wouldn't go camping now unless it was on a river or lake shore.

So back to one of the parts of the camping theme, I mentioned about swimming. So if you never went camping, or you like 5 star service in a hotel or you camped on a lake or you camped on a river, here is the question of the week that everyone can answer  Have you ever gone skinny dipping? Was it with someone?

I do have a question before we start though... if a friend of mine went to a nudist beach on the ocean and went into the ocean, would that be skinny dipping  I would like to let him know 0:). Is it skinny dipping if everyone else is nude as in 50 to 100, or so other people?

So yes, I have been skinny dipping, rivers, lakes, pools, hot tubs, natural hot springs. There is something exhilarating about being all hanging out there and not restricted by a bathing suit that makes you feel alive!

The questions is, have you ever heeded to the saying, don't be a prude, go nude :gikkle:! Bathtubs are exempt from this discussion

Now that you are in the predicament of saying yes, yes I did, or do I want to say I did and give myself away or just an outright no, let's move onto the Wrap Up.

Monday, Myr plopped in a new concept of a blog. Check it out and let us know what you think:

Tuesday he was back to go deep diving. Just saw a thing on free diving, wonder how low Myr can go :P:

Wednesday, Cia dropped in to clear up any confusion on what day the Secret Author Contest deadline was. In the end, it is a Secret :gikkle:  I would have strongly suggested you got them in on the 16th though:

Friday, Aditus brought up the dreaded topic that has spawned out of New Years 😮Do you have any Summer resolutions:

No matter how hot and sweaty Myr was, I'm sure you were too, he still got out the Words of the Day:

beginning, faith, choice, change, transformation, catalyst, threshold

Wouldn't it had been funny if he had started with beginning and ended with end :P

The first time I swam nude was at the Y in the 1950's.  I've skinny dipped in creeks, lakes and rivers as a kid, but never as an adult. ☹️

Why, yes, Steve I have been skinny dipping. Thanks for asking. :gikkle:

Once upon a time in a far, far away place called Lorain, Ohio there was a Gay bar called Lambda Bar (I know, how original). This was the first Gay bar I ever set foot into. As time and distance works its magic I have lost touch with all of the people I met and used to hang with, including the so-called boyfriends (one lasted for 5 years).

Now, back to the topic of skinny dipping: Occasionally on the weekends, during the summer, a group of inebriated Gay men would get into their various vehicles and drive 8.5 miles and park across from the Ford plant in Avon. There we had to traverse railroad tracks to get to a sandy beach on Lake Erie. Then all involved would shuck our clothing and dip into the lake, drunk. In hind sight it was not in our best interests. The po-po (that's police jargon) could have stopped and arrested all of us -- for trespassing (railroad ownership); drunk driving; and skinny dipping. I'm unsure which would have been the greater offense (I mean some of us were not in good shape what with this being back in the 80's before gym culture took hold :o). Anyhoo, we never got caught and nobody drowned, so I'd call that having had a good time.

For some reason, years ago, before i got married, i was around Georgian Bay. We decided to swim. It was end of September, so that lasted all of 30 seconds because the water was so cold. That was my skinny-dipping career.  :D
