The Herd? Why not The Flock? Or The Pack while you're at it?

(Did you guess I did not vote like the eight supporters...)

B) ...........I think a flock is a bird thing..........wolves are a pack, goats and sheep are herded thus herds

But if one gets chosen, are we obligated to agree to it? What happens if someone breaks 'the code' and calls himself as he wants eg a Minion...?

B) ......Hum! I believe they would be pelted with Goat dung

I still think "Hey, you guys! *chucks debris in their direction* Yeah, you! Oi!" would have been a better name, but alas, it was not an option. I'll have to vote something else.

Lol..

Shepherd. :P

Shepherd, most unfortunately, has been reduced to a biblical or christian term most associated with Christ as the Good Shepherd.

As for flock, I never heard it spoken in the film Brokeback Mountain. Of course, they never had to concern themselves with sheep flocking, now did they? They mostly considered themselves as cowboys. I love cowboys.

These days people farm sheep and are sheep farmers. Same for cattle. Goats are too refined a beast to be farmed, herded or even possibly flocked. B)

Lol.. Yeah.. I would've fired those two.. cowboys.

Shepherd is more biblical, the book I read that was wrote in the 1940's used Farmer so I guess it was out dated a while ago. :P:wub:

The Herd sounds quite cultish to me. It makes me think of blind followers. And we saw many times how CJ's fans weren't like this. So this name would be paradoxical.

Posted

Yes, yes! I agree with Francois. The Herd gives an idea of people who accept all what CJ says. And I'm sure CJ has tolerated us a lot!

But still, what will we call us? What if we all call each other by different names?
