Never let it be said that we don't listen to people...so I heard a few grumblings about the forum colors and wanted to hear what the majority of Domoholics think...

 

speak and speak loudly so we can hear you over Vic's ranting.

Ok, I entered the first vote to kick DK out.

 

Seeing that I don't mind the current colours or any of the new suggestions, it seemed the only reasonable thing to do.

 

Domopolis, Domville, Dom York, Domfornacania, Domasska....doesn't matter to me.

I added the second vote to kick DK out. Of course you never know what damage he might do to the forum colors on the way out (let's see..fushia and rosebud pink!)

Thank you Solace...that's why I voted for Purple..As long as we keep it with a Rainbow Theme...I love your suggestion of Rainbow Flash:)

Whatever the eventual result (and the poll stays until there's a lot more results), we might be able to work the rainbow colors in. I like the idea...will have to talk to Myr about it and see if his wizarding genius can come up with something.

I would say a nice dark green... but for some reason It just doesnt fit... maybe green and brown.

Well, I must admit I don't know DK that well. I'm one of those Domophiles that he referes to. Now, I did read Jarred 'cause Dom recommended we do that before starting on Service. I'm certainly glad I did. I'm a vampire freak! Reading Jarred opened up my fantasy life monumentally. But let's not go there.

 

Ok, my only reason for wanting to kick DK out is the sheer entertainment value of it all. I see 6 burly Domophiles carrying DK out the door while he's kicking and screaming.

 

Yup, that's the reson.

Well, nothin really. Actually, what I have read of your work, I have enjoyed immensely. You take very good care of us here. You're so patient in answering questions that newbies have, including myself. You never make anyone feel dumb for asking. I enjoy your sense of humour. I love how you jokingly send put downs in Vic's direction. I got really excited when I thought you were going to declare me outlaw for attempting to steal a thread. I was hoping I would get to wear spurs and ride someone.

 

There's no reason not to like you. I do like you.

Whew!

 

I've been trying real hard to make sure all of Dom's fans can come in here and feel welcome, not just in here but anywhere in Gay Author's. I really like this place, and think we've got a real possibility of building a good, strong community of gay authors, readers, and our friends (heck, I've even been inviting straight friends to join in on the Soapbox discussions).

 

If you want to wear spurs and leather chaps, though, I might suggest a few other GA residents. Novelty might be a good one to try out...he's in need of a firm whipping as well. As for being branded outlaw...I can always ding! ya whenever I feel like it...

 

Oh, and was re-watching the Battlestar Galactica mini-series tonight. I loved this line:
