Tipdin Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 First, I should answer the question: both. I wash and rinse off with a shower nozzle on a hose, and then fill the tub to soak. The only difference is that there isn't a bevy of boys (of the age of consent, of course) in my "hot soak." The tub is shorter than most, but it's also deeper tham most, and has just enough room for two people who enjoy each other's company a great deal. I'm with David. Well, not in reality, but I sure wouldn't mind! I live in Minnesota - it's cold here! In Winter, a steamy hot bath (preferably with someone) is a great way to warm up! Most of the time I shower, alone...unfortunately. But isn't that why gyms were invented? For some reason, Minnesotans are very prudish - until they go up to their cabins! On the side of our boathouse we had several shower heads mounted on the wall outside. There were a lot of us cousins, (and some really hunky uncles) that thought nothing of getting nekked and showering with each other. Everyone knew that section of the yard was reserved for the guys - and what happened at the boathouse stayed at the boathouse...! That's why everyone loves to go the cabin, right?
Menorain Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 I am so going to have a shower tomorrow! But it's usually a shower scenario.
Former Member Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 I prefer a bath but only if it's very large, (very clean) white ceramic bathtub in a bathroom with a large window which can be opened. Reminds me of home.
Elias Rosine Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 Baths when I'm feeling really lazy, but on most days I prefer the shower.
Stellar Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Shower, always. I don't know, there's something sensual and almost hypnotic about running water. Everyone says baths are relaxing but a hot shower on a cold day is the best.
nomenmeumnescitum Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Shower. Bathing takes WAY too much time. Plus, if I want to warm up in the winter or cool off in the summer, a hot/cool shower will be much more efficient and comfortable than taking a hot/cool bath.
AnytaSunday Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Actually, I'm not such a fan of baths. I can't relax when my fingers get all wrinkly. It makes my teeth go numb. I'm a total shower gal. 1
Heart Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Definately shower, the water hitting on your body, turning the taps on high, so even if you sing badly, the sound of water would drown that, dancing as well, fantacies? never been ther, haven't done that, I love steamy showers, keep it clean, and keep the passion
zland666 Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 Shower and even though a bath is relaxing at times your kinda sitting in your own dirt
DragonMando Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 I shower. Our tub is just way too tiny for me to be at all comfy in
Clovis Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 I love baths if they're long enough for me to submerge, and then shower afterwards. but we're on rain water tanks so can't have baths... in the dry season two minute showers are all we can spare.
Agaith Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 I'm definitely a shower person, bath is too small really and I get restless
Steve3 Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Shower's for bathing, bath is for fun...... Steve
thephoenix Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 A shower is good if you want to get clean quickly. If you have one of those premium showers with the water jets and rainfall type of shower head, I'd imagine that would be like a water massage while blasting away the dirt. A bath is good if you feel sore for some reason...like after a workout or something. And if you don't have AC, a cool water bath will cool you down pretty quick when the temperature gets a little too high.
