The GA staff are saddened to have to report that we've had someone claiming authorship for stories that they didn't write. We were alerted to this when the real author of a story, who had posted it elsewhere on the Internet, contacted us to complain.

 

We would like to ask for your assistance. If you suspect that a story posted in eFiction has been stolen, please contact the Administrators or Moderators so we can investigate further and take appropriate action. The easiest way to do this is to click on the [Report This] link at the top of each chapter or story. If possible, please let us know where the original story can be found.

 

As a community of authors and readers, we treat the theft of a story very seriously.

Because of this issue, we have been forced to switch on moderation for eFiction stories. This means that there may be a delay before stories appear. We ask that you please be patient Someone will approve the stories and chapters - we just need to check new stories before we allow them to appear.

I hope plagiarising my own work is okay!

 

But for good measure, I deleted my work elsewhere.

Sometimes I think plagiarising is an act of flattering. but then again my story is free!

I'd think it would flattering for someone to quote my work and give me credit than use it and pass it off as their own. Permission is underrated.

What's flattering is when someone compliments your work... not steals it!
