Mathematical Axioms that involve One.

  • The Identity Elements: There exists exactly one real number, called "one" and denoted by 1, such that for any a ∈ R, a*1=a and 1*a=a
  • The Inverse Elements: For each nonzero number a ∈ R, there exists exactly one real number, denoted by 1/a, such that a(1/a)=1 and (1/a)a=1
