I thought so.  How's Norway tonight? And wow.  That is far away.

Hah, yeah, it's pretty far. Right now, it's mostly cold and dark. And it's almost four in the morning. My brain clearly doesn't believe I'm in Norway. :P

Four a.m.? Do you need me to tell you to go to bed, Thorn? Hmmm.... :P

That makes a nine-hour time zone span between what I believe to be the most easterly (you) and the most westerly (me) participants in this group, a trivia item of no particular import, but I was curious.

@Thorn Wilde

The distances between us is one of the things I like about being on this site. Just imagine, with GA I wouldn't have met all you lovely people. Well, I might have run into tim some day - which has happened with people I know -  but the rest of you? The likelihood of that is slim to none. So delighted that's not the case and we did all "met".

Maybe I do. :P Actually thinking I'll turn in soon, though. Shower first, I'm thinking.

TGiT .... Morning

dossier Audio pronunciation

noun | DOSS-yay

Definition

:
a file containing detailed records on a particular person or subject

Gather together various documents relating to the affairs of a certain individual, sort them into separate folders, label the spine of each folder, and arrange the folders in a box. Dossier, the French word for such a compendium of spine-labeled folders, was picked up by English speakers in the 19th century. It comes from dos, the French word for "back." The verb endorse (which originally meant "to write on the back of") and the rare adjective addorsed ("set or turned back to back," a term primarily used in heraldry) are also derived, via the Anglo-French endosser and French adosser respectively, from dos. The French dos has its origins in the Latin dorsum, a word which also gave English the adjective dorsal ("situated on the back"), as in "the dorsal fin of a whale."
