It is actually better than what you would think as long as you pay attention to the main plot line of the movie. The creatures are a small part of the movie. I...will never be able to read "Me tie dough-ty walker" without hearing the voice that they used for that creature. Nope. Mmm...

Mind you: Horror fan. Last time a jumpscare got me was like...Freddy popping up to drag a guy through the mattress in a flood of blood. When I was 12. Not even Five Nights at Freddy did it to me. These were well planned and executed.

As long as you don't go into it thinking that you're seeing an anthology of a movie (which I've seen coming from the reviews so far), it's enjoyable. There's the main plot and the creatures are just kind of a support to the main plot. :D

Good morning :yawn:  We're up early today because we're heading to Syracuse for the day :D We'll get breakfast at Tim Hortons, then head out :)

Oddly the high is only a bit warmer at 80/26° than when the day started. It actually cooled a couple of degrees before warming up again. It's been very cloudy, drear and muggy. Still a potential for storms later.

It's gotten warmer here, so I've put off another attempt at painting. The next three days should be cooler... but it might rain all three days...
